ok so jess (sophie turner) has some dead daddy issues to make up for. basically she was super close to her dad and since he passed she’s kind of inadvertently trying to get attention of older men. this is not a req for a final but we can always see how things go. i like to keep options open for everyone. personality and history are open for the most part as long as we can coordinate timelines or how they met over messaging!

so i have a couple ideas that someone could pick from (or different people could take both if your keen)

a. band mate / roadie / manager  the older guy could be part of her band life, whether he is in the band or just maybe a guy the band has hired to help with gigs, like a mixer who does the sound board and stuff, or could be a future manager they land. so there’s conflicting feelings about work and keeping things on the low down cause if they have a bad break up then it could ruin band dynamics. i imagine he’d be actually someone who’s been in the music business a while but maybe burnt out, but some people like jess might have definitely heard of him cause he had some one hit wonder. 

b. landlord / room mate’s brother come to couch surf a while other thing is apartment au! one scenario could be he’s like kinda rich so he has one of those larger houses that you can rent one floor to tenants. maybe he has a girlfriend or fiance his age. so when they keep running into each other and she decides she bakes cookies for him and they hang out a few times and end up netflix and chilling it’s awkward cause they’re not sure what to do but keep doing it anyway. or he’s just her room mate’s brother that has crashed on their couch for a week he says but it ends up longer or he’s just over a lot after they end up hooking up. 

these are basic but there is room for angst, drama, and awkward romance cause that’s how jess does. i prefer option b, but i like to collaborate so hmu (elle on discord) or here if you’re interested!

girl gang band

request for jess’ band mates! for an unnamed band cause i suck at names. this could even be roleplayed out recruiting new members. this doesn’t have to be their main “job.” seeking 2 - 4 members. maybe two gals and two guys. the girls will be the front women and the dudes are like extra instruments just so we’re clear. female members need to both be able to sing and play an instrument! they’re genre is indie basically slow songs can be like london grammar, the xx, but then faster songs could be like paramore new stuff, or the yeah yeah yeahs? IDK genre can also be discussed cause I like collaborating! right now they’re pretty popular within denver and colorodo on like indie and college channels. they gig around the state and neighboring states and sometimes go to larger cities. but they really want the big push to getting signed which is so close they can taste it! 

members probably should be younger twenties but don’t have to be or all the same age. just have to have reasonably met some how. face recommendations:  alessia cara, becky g, kiersey clemons, amandla stenberg, keke palmer, maisie williams, chloe bennet

by the looks of it you couldn’t tell that jess had lost her parents to a horrible freak accident, good, cause she’d like to think she’s swell at bottling up her feelings. instead she’s focused on things like getting signed by a label with her band. despite her looks she’s a prankster and can be immature. sometimes she doesn’t even know what comes out of her mouth which can be problematic. it’s hard for her to match feelings with logic because sometimes they conflict but she’s a bisexual cat mom nerd at heart and wishes she gave more fucks about a “real career.”

Maxine Azumi / Thirty-Two / Human / Mechanic + Taxi Driver / Transistor

Max is a scorned mechanic who fucked up when working for Tanaka causing a small malfunction. She now secretly helps patch up synths and works on random projects. But her day job is a taxi driver because fixing up synths that talk back to you doesn’t pay the bills.

Hyun-ki Hahn / Forty-five / Human / Cop / Resistor

Anti-synth due to losing his brother and parents to a rogue synth. Has an addiction to VR dens. Has a cyborg arm having it severed - by you guessed it - a synth. Has a little cloud hanging over his head but that’s why he’s so snippy. Basically Karl Urban’s character from Almost Human and Bones.

Valerie Marchant / Two-Years-Old / Synth / Capacitor

Val is a synth with an identity crisis. Waking up with the Eight and Sand but ultimately running away due to lack of solid memories. She “feels” she has amnesia but gets flashes of her human memories. Her mother (or sister) implanted her dying bodies memories into this synth - and another.
