“Can I order an anchovy pizza? I like the little fishies!”

“Hello Portrait… it’s me again. Things were kind of cut off the last time we met. It also took me a bit to get here from the station. How are you? I heard you’re in a rough patch still. I brought a care package if you need.” Rittzi stood in the doorway with a box in her arms. Behind her, a tall woman in security armor leaned against a wall, a kind smile on her face. She didn’t seem to be trying to get involved with Rittzi’s current interaction. She was just there for support.

Rittzi chirped happily. “Okay! Come on! We can go now, I’m sure. Are you okay in public? Or outside? Or wherever we’re going? Actually, I’ll have to be careful too not to scare people. If they know Weyland-Yutani, they might know about me… but if not there could be a lot of screaming.”

“Ehh, I’ve got an idea. I’m sure it’ll be fiiine. People are more likely to think you’re in a fursuit and get scared of the floating person without legs, to be fair.”

“Wait, a fursuit? What’s that?” She followed her, now wondering if this would truly work. She’d likely be followed by W-Y hidden security though, so she was sure it would be okay.

It’s basically where a person wears like, an animal costume. But like… humanised. They’re really cool.

Rittzi looked up at the sky outside, the first time since years ago when she had gone on vacation to a tropical planet with her father. “Woah… Earth’s sky is beautiful…” She chirped.

“I’d really like some friends. Traveling in the arcade all the time is lonely… would anyone like to be friends?”
