Lisa flushed with pleasure, knowing without needing a mirror that her cheeks were as red as a Gryffindor’s tie, but gave a wry smirk as she replied, “Really? What happened after the first fifteen minutes, then? Something else catch your attention?”

“Naturally,” Rita replied, giving the girl a smile. She’d spent enough hours perfecting it to know the effect it could have - just enough coyness inserted to balance the brilliance. “Then I saw your face.” 

James tensed, mouth thin-lining. “Not particularly.” If anything, he was feeling a bit lost of sorts. 

“Shame.” Talk about a wasted opportunity.
