Iβm doing well, all things considered! Iβm happy to have a job I really enjoy, and when Iβm not working, thereβs always something to do and new places to explore in the city I live in. Moving out of my hometown and to a place where I knew almost no one was something I was extremely nervous about, but looking back a few years later, I know I made the right decision.
Iβve made some incredible friends, and we get together as often as we can after work and on the weekends. My bf and I have been together for about a year and a half, and heβs everything wonderful a partner in life could possibly be. My family is doing well, and my mom is actually in the process of making the move to be closer to me, which is something weβve both wanted for a long time.
So, while thereβs plenty to be upset about on a daily basis, I do have a lot to be grateful for, too. Thanks for asking. It gave me a much-needed moment to pause and reflect on all the positive things around me. β€οΈ

Commission for @apocalypticwaffles and her fic: A Parade of Indignities!
Seriously one of my favorites and one of the finest IZ reads out there, Iβve been watching this fic for sometime now so I was incredibly honored to be commissioned for a few scenes from it.Β
If you like drama, angst, character growth through hardship and a sprinkle of space adventure you will love this writing. The pacing is fantastic, the characters are spot on, and weβre 20+ chapters in so far and the plot is getting JUICY. Go give it a read!!!
I think part of what makes Invader Zim so fascinating to me is that Dib and Zim can both never get what they want. And I donβt mean that they canβt defeat each other, though that is also probably true. No, I mean that what they both want at the end of the day is respect. And it doesnβt matter if Zim takes over the Earth, it doesnβt matter if Dib stops Zim for good, because no matter what neither of them are getting any respect from anyone.
In a way, winning is the worst thing that could happen to either of them. Because the only people that show them enough respect to regard the other as a threat is each other.
