      ALTHOUGH, maybe this place wasn’t the best for a reunion, even one that Yu really did want.

“That’s really not it, Rise.”

      WELL, he’s glad she’s here, at least.

You okay? You’re kinda shivering…Oh! Are you cold? Want my jacket?”

“Oh..” Which means she doesn’t need to blow up little cash for this performer. She can’t really say that she hated it, but at the same time, she can’t bring herself to like her singing voice.

“…Nice singing.. I think.” A comment to satisfy the performer, before slowly leaving her.. slowly..

❥ She was leaving and that’s not something Rise would allow. It was among the most awkward approaches ever but between letting this end abruptly and go home alone, she’d rather let her divine hand interfere. And by divine it was meaning she would attempt grabbing the other girl.

“May…be? Could be because its cold I dunno. Takes more then a pretty face to get past my walls.”

❥ “Eh?” A definitively awkward question leaves her speechless for a few seconds. Luckily she had enough to survive as of late, being properly fed is something to be grateful for! Despite needing to find another job ASAP.

“Jealous? Puhleez. Just saying something. Why? You like jealousy or something?”

“Bet you say that to all the boys dontcha?” Did he really bring a stool with him?

“Humans born in the light always wish for companions, it is hardly surprising. If you wish to find someone to defend you in this city, I can offer the names of a few. Foolish heroes of light who forged more bonds across their lifetimes then I imagined possible. They would be less like intimidating bodyguards…and more like friends. I should think, anyway. I am hardly an expert on what friendship is.”
