Some people may dislike characters because they see themselves within them. Hypocrisy is something everyone is guilty of.

Quess was meant to be a naive child, close-minded and unwilling to change, being part of a newtype tragedy, mistaking her psychic connection for love. She was never meant to have character development, she was meant to die for her actions.

I also want to add that Quess is pretty much like Kamille, the difference is that they had different guidance and Kamille had the chance to develop.

Hey I made a video for Quess, a character I have respect for on a narrative standpoint. People somehow seem to confuse a unlikable character for a bad one, there is no logic there when Quess for example played her role really well.

Also I’m starting a Quess Cult, we will spread appreciation for Quess on a narrative standpoint.
