Sadly, little value, generic, neutral prefade office jeans like this (Top Picture) will eventually end up tossed in the trash or donated to charity. Meanwhile, these raw denim fade jeans make a great investment in both wear and long term appeal, typically commanding the same price originally paid and greater. Distressed jeans just like this, sell on ebay for hundreds, making them worth the time to break them in and worth the revered appeal and added collector's value. That is the dividing difference between fast fashion and denim that is true to its heritage. They don't depreciate. They increase in both value and appeal.
