Brian was the first to approach and introduce you to Tim. Brian had started going to college again and met you there.
Tim kept you at arms length, seeing you as Brian's friend more than his. Surprisingly Tim catches feelings first, he just refuses to say anything.
Brian presumably fell harder, and was the one to bring up polyamory. He saw it in movies. While Tim was more unsure, he decided to agree. He was just worried about the two WEIRDOS. As well as just his own issues in general.

Yes, you guys do do movie nights, it's unavoidable. Tim likes action movies or comedies. Brian enjoys most genres, but he prefers to avoid supernatural movies for Tim's sake.
Tim is more laid back with his affection while Brian is a bit of a hopeless romantic. He tries movie cliches and hope they land. They only do because he's kind of a nerd.
With Hoodie and Masky, they're quite the contrast.
While both are more indifferent to your emotions, Hoodie somewhat tries to keep you happier. Masky sees you more like a creature in his house he can occasionally toss around.

Say it's Hoodie and Tim that are out, then it's mostly awkward silences with the two of them holding your hands are being nearby. Tim doesn't dislike Hoodie, they're just both unsure on how to approach each other.
Brian and Masky are more chatty. As in Brian chats and Masky just kinda stares at him. Brian has given Masky small kisses as a joke mostly, and Masky is reeling away like a cat avoiding pets.
