Dragonslayer Is a Documentary about Josh "Skreech" Sandoval and his personal journey and how he lives his live by the rules of "Our Daily Bread" It shows the issues that young people can live with and what is associated with the skate subculture on the grottier side of things. The thing that I really like about it again is the simple but beautiful photography that is captured along with the live fast feel you get from the film. 

Into the wild is a film based on the stories of traveler Christopher McCandless, Although the book again named "Into the Wild" is more accurate and based on his memoirs more then the film but it gives you a strong feeling of self belief. Its the idea of doing something off the wall but writing them down so you always remember what you did. He got to live his dream of living off the land with no money id cards or identity however he died with living is dream due to starvation/eating poison.

Backstreet Atlas- A skate documentary is a short documentary I took a lot of inspiration for when planning my documentary. Its about two skaters who skate from Boston to Ny City, 215 miles on a skateboard. I like this film again because its about finding yourself and having a little bit of fun along the way, the camera work and audio is really simple often shot filming ones self or through a friend through a basic camera. Its the simplicity of it that I really like about the film but it still remains to be extremely engaging and enjoyable.

Today my project fell through due to timing and interviewing issues that i could not prevent, but I thought I should share some of my inspiration for this project on here.

This is the typeface that I have chosen to promote myself with and use. Lato is really nicely rounded, is extremely legible but also offers diverse use.

Some top tips for creating very good and effective video CV's from mashable, I think as I am doing a motion based course it needs a motion based cv.

Another example of great promotional work, that gained recognition by the media, a simple idea but extremely effective, I would love to create something like this that creates a large buzz.

Some tips that people make when making portfolios, the best think about this is it is done by a genuine employer.

Here are some examples of excellent self promotion projects from physical objects to zines. I think some of these are excellent and would definitely draw the attention of employers and draw attention themselves as a viral.

Just a final update on what Adam is up to. I do feel that this shows how big a promotional campaign can be and how successful they can be when they are done properly and you can get the job you want if you work hard enough.... which im not doing at the moment.
