Asbeth-Seril, Torean Ringdom

A Torean slavegirl is expected to submit to her dominant whenever and wherever she is ordered to.

In the ringdom of Asbeth-Seril this custom takes some curious connotations: Asbethserilian mistresses love to target Offworlder tourists, enticing them with their wiles and then having them submit in public.

Slave-feed is by far the most common and widespread type of food on Torei. This substance is famously thick and flavorless, yet the well-balanced caloric intake it provides, along with its long-term storage potential, ease of production, enormous availability and the fact it can be assimilated without producing any waste, make slave-feed an absolute staple in the Torean diet.

One of the punishment suits in use at Chainsgate, Asbeth-Seril’s maximum security prison. These laminate suits have been designed by the former High Lancer Ima Wray, to seal off a prisoner’s senses on command through the massive control collar placed around the inmate’s throat. This can be used to achieve partial or complete sensory deprivation, helps mollify even the most hardened of Truants.

Torean presents are often quite different in nature compared with Offworlder ones.

In the Ringdom of Asbeth-Seril, it is quite common for noble-born dominants that come of age to celebrate the occasion by receiving their first personal slavegirl as a gift. The laminate package containing the present is often extremely lavish and elaborate and the process of unpacking it may  almost be as pleasurable as playing with the present itself.

Asbeth-Seril has a higher amount of fugitive slavegirls than is standard on Torei. At the same time Asbeth-Seril has an extremely high ratio of recovered fugitives compared to other ringdoms. Asbethserilian culture stresses the need for dominants to be always put to the test to hone their skills. As a result, most Asbethserilian dominants welcome challenges posed by their property… which does not mean they will not correct their misbehavior with due severity.

By law, in the Ringdom of Asbeth-Seril enslavement can only be the result of a verdict emitted by the College of Judicatrixes or the effect of the personal choice of the slavegirl-to-be. Some particularly unscrupulous Asbethserilian dominants just ignore the law, though, and just take what they want.

Given the status and power dominants enjoy in the Ringdom, it is not difficult to make a Freewomb disappear. In fact, in Asbeth-Seril there are bounty-huntresses who specialize in these kinds of unlawful acquisitions, which, given their clandestine nature, are particularly profitable.

Once acquired, the target is delivered to her new owner. After that the former Freewomb is almost certainly lost: Asbethserilian dominants have the resources and the facilities to keep their property out of the public eye, and their privacy is considered sacrosanct by the Ringdom’s authorities, which means they have all the time they need to break down their new slaves’ resistance, molding them into submissive pets, willing to obey their owner's every command.

On Torei, Soubrettes are a high value and extremely specialized type of slaves that act as maids for their owners. They are trained to be extremely efficient at any given task demanded of them but, at the same time, they are expected to act with playful brattiness whenever the occasion presents itself and it is appropriate to do so, which their owners invariably find arousing, especially when such shows of insubordination call for correction…

As all other Torean Ringdoms, Asbeth-Seril is accepting of slavery, which is considered a fact of life. On Torei the women who are not the property of a dominant are called “Freewombs”, and, to the surprise (and sometimes, the horror) of Offworlder visitors to Torei, their condition of freedom is rarely considered a positive status. Belonging to a dominant implies protection, and a rich and powerful dominant can offer living conditions that are far better than those enjoyed by most Freewombs. These factors have contributed to make slavery not only an acceptable condition, but one most of the native female population looks forward to.

“Finding oneself a good collar”, is actually a common saying among Toreans and for this reason women do enroll into academies specialized into training their students to become prized submissives who have developed an impressive set of skills and will be coveted by dominants capable of taking good care of them.

While not exactly common, Offworlders do end up as slaves in the Ringdom Asbeth-Seril.

Enslavement may happen on a voluntary basis, in which case the Offworlder is often assigned a low slave code, implying temporary enslavement, with several potential limitations baked into the contract.

Slavegirls of Offworlder stock often have limitations and taboos Toreans, and Asbethserilians among them, find funny, impractical, and/or improper.

Fortunately, the Ministry of Improvements has developed several treatments capable to address and efficiently get rid of these idiosyncrasies.

The priestesses of the Twin Goddesses always travel in pairs. The black-haired ones representing Nyrax and the blonde ones standing for Larerys. The former, dominants, and the latter, submissives. While the Church is present in Asbeth and Seril both, itinerant priestesses are sent throughout the Ringdom to teach the populace about the goddesses and the complementary virtues of domination and submission.

On Torei, Heirmakers are especially cherished slavegirls who gave birth to a male child.

This is a rare occurrence of the planet and infinitely more so on in the Ringdom of Asbeth-Seril. Therefore, the title of Heirmaker is given to slavegirls who have successfully given birth to the designated female heir of a noble house.

These slaves are often given a position of prominence among their owner’s menagerie and when they are brought out in public, they wear laminate suits and accessories that simultaneously emphasize their submission and their preciousness.

Exploration and patrolling of the desertic wastelands that extend outside the "Shackle", the great crater that forms the ringdom of Asbeth-Seril's boundaries, is a dangerous endeavour that requires skill, courage, and adequate equipment.

Fortunately, Asbeth-Seril's factories produce top notch reinforced laminate suits and breather masks than help reducing the risks inherent to such ventures.
