I hate June 25th. I really do. On June 25th, she decided it wasn’t worth it. Or hell, maybe she didn’t. I don’t know. The next day, gay marriage was passed by the Supreme Court. Love won. Sure. Everybody else’s did. Mine died. Well, at least the love I had with her did. I’m still carrying my love for her around. I’m not sure what to do with it. So I hold onto the shattered pieces of my heart, trying to stitch them all back up, but I don’t think I’m skilled enough. I mean, I keep pricking my fingers with the needle, and to be honest, the blood doesn’t really bother me anymore.
