"Hey, Salazar, Draco!"

“Sit still, Pansy."

Pansy chuckles, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Sit still while you pull out all my hair?" she grumbles, making Theo laugh. A small smile appears on Draco's lips.

"I'm trying to be careful."

"Mmm."

"Next time will be better."

“It’s like I’m going to let you braid my hair again.”

1999 lake near Hogwarts .

"Hey, Draco!"

"Sh, Granger, it's not my fault you have a nest here and not hair. I almost can't make them out in strands."

"Merlin, spare my hair."

"Stop talking, I'm practicing."

"For what?"

"For the future!"

2010 nursery in the Malfoy house.

"Oh, dad, it hurts!"

Draco freezes. And then, after a while, he continues to braid the spikelet, barely touching the hair and pulling it together. The pigtail looks careless and almost falls apart because Draco is afraid of hurting his daughter once more.

"You never learned how to braid, Draco," Hermione says with a chuckle as she approaches Draco. She sits next to him on the bed and puts her head on his shoulder, looking at her daughter's head.

“You and Pansy were just terribly impatient and didn't let me study properly."

"Opie, ait..."

Hermione turns around at her younger son's babbling and smiles softly as Allie moves his little feet quickly to catch up with older brother.

"Oops." The baby falls, apparently stumbling over some kind of branch.

Hermione is about to go, run to her younger son, who is trying to get up, but Draco stops her, pulling her closer to himself.

He doesn't say anything, just nods his chin forward, forcing her to look further when she looks up at him questioningly.

She turns her head towards the children and sees Scorpius approaching his little brother and helping him up.

"That's it, Allie," Scorpi brushes off his little brother's hands while Hermione and Draco smile fondly as they watch. "Let's go." Scorpio gets up. Alioth sniffles but doesn't cry, though his cheeks are a little flushed. “Hold my hand, okay?"

“Kay". Alli replies in childish voice and takes his brother by the hand.

"Well, you see," Draco whispers in her ear as they watch their sons start to follow them again. “Our princess is definitely lucky to have Scorpius as an older brother.

"And you were afraid you'd be a bad father," she says softly, placing her hand on Draco's over her rounded stomach and leaning against his shoulder as they wait for their children to catch up.

'I'm still afraid."

"You're a wonderful dad, Draco Malfoy."

He chuckles.

“More like they just got lucky with their mom, Hermione…” She looks up at him, narrowing her eyes slightly. Draco chuckles. "Malfoy... But to me you'll always be Granger ," he adds in her ear as the kids approach them.

"Everything is fine?" she asks, looking at her sons, not forgetting to nudge Draco lightly with her hip for his Granger . She's been Malfoy for seven years...

"Yes, Mom," Scorpius replies firmly.

Hermione glances at her younger son, who smiles at her, revealing a sweet dimple in his cheek.

And she can't resist it. A smile appears on her lips.

"Okay, then let's move on?"

“Only one name will be highlighted on the front page tomorrow morning. The name that is known by the whole country. In black ink on grayish paper, will be written only one name in capital letters. Because it's who he is...

The only one who also lost everything.

They stayed together, looking at two new graves filled with earth and covered with flowers on top when others left. There were all of them. Their friends, family. They left, leaving two of them on the grounds of Malfoy-Manor…

"I didn't even tell him," Hermione said, looking down at her feet until a new cry took her into her domain."

"Here you go."

"Fleece, please."

" What are you doing?"

Hermione turns her head to look at Draco, who has stopped in the doorway. She smiles lightly, looking at him.

"Nurse! Nurse, we're losing him!"

Scorpius' alarmed voice makes her return to her work. Namely, to assist the young Dr. Malfoy on the operation of Mr. Teddy. His white teddy bear.

"Scorpius, are you a doctor?"

“I'm a surgeon, dad, just like you."

Draco chuckles as Scorpius calmly returns to the operation, commanding Hermione.

“Princesses, seriously, Draco?

She snorts at the hideously pink packet of band-aids Draco is holding in his anormous hands.

"Aren't good girls are princesses?"

Hermione purses her lips when Draco looks at her like that . Looks like her daddy .

“I’m a good girl,” she says with a touch of stubbornness, and then she looks back at the package of overly pink princess band-aids and points her index finger at it. “But princess band-aids are to much."

Draco sighs and hangs up the pack of band-aids. Apparently here his baby really wants to be an adult not a little girl like she used to be at their home. Draco's long fingers are already touching the package of regular germicidal band-aids when Hermione's soft, almost quiet voice stops him.

"I want with the Avengers."

He chuckles softly, squinting at Hermione, who purses her lips as she glares at the packs of blue Avengers band-aids hanging above.

"Avengers?"

“Um… Princesses suck, Avengers rule."
