at the risk of revealing myself as corny, I watched these last night and THOROUGHLY enjoyed them. the ending chord in the first video is particularly insane:
#and I was so taken with the second one incorporating shape-note singing#I had learned about it some years ago and gotten into some sacred harp music lol so that was really fun to be like WAIT I KNOW THAT#the second group is an all-women group so if you're wondering how they're getting a pitch that deep: apparently you're allowed to use#octavizers or other pitching devices in the ICCA competitions. which I feel complexly about HOWEVER it sounds amazing sooooo 🤷♀️
