Luciâs rightâif August has concerns or uncertainties, then he just has to voice them with Ryan. Thatâs the whole point, right? to find a support system within someone else so they can figure things out together rather than him keeping it to himself. He puts extra marshmallows in his own hot chocolate, moving towards the living room. Aidenâs on the couch and RyanâŚis at a table nearby, perfect. He picks up his own laptop and wanders over to her work station, setting his things down as well.Â
Sheâs got headphones in as far as he can tell, so sheâs probably in the zone with what they started today. Thatâs fine, heâs still got some photos to categorize and the conversation he wants to have with her should probably be in private rather than out in the open.Â
Luci wanders into the living room as well, seeing her husband spread out on the couch. She smiles, taking a sip of her hot chocolate and puts it down on the coffee table. She then proceeds to crawl onto the couch as well, easily slotting herself against his bodyâbetween his legs, on his chest, her head underneath his chin, turning her head to whatever heâs got on the TV.
Ryan rests her elbow on the table with her palm to her cheek. Her eyes flicker over to August as he joins her and⌠well fine. Makes sense, theyâre both working. She just feels kind of weird now because she doesnât understand whatever this pressure is she overheard. Did she say or do something? She doesnât believe so, not recently anyway.Â
She sighs quietly, focusing back onto her work for a while. Ryan mocks up what some of the pages can look like, condensing being the make issue but nothing will be finalized. Sheâs for a deadline and sheâs already getting ahead. She flips through her book, pulling out the info pack from Tilly and zones in for the next hour.
And within that next hour, Aidenâs passed out on the couch with his arm around Luci. One of his legs hang off the couch as heâs too long. The whole lodge feels sleeping, especially with the fireplace on making it very cozy. Ryan rubs her eyes, pushing her laptop back and debates stopping there for the night. Might be a good idea. She saves her projects and closes her laptop, yawning quietly.
