not sure if you meant my own or like, general consensus across the fandom so im just going to go ahead and answer for both

they go to different colleges to learn how to be independent and its hard but it also, inexplicably, brings them closer together

moving in together after college and being ridiculously domestic

riley being a teacher and maya guest teaches art at her school and freelances on the side and also does sets for theater shows

by the last episode of s3 they’re together it just didn’t show them getting together

maya fell for riley second but realized first, riley fell for maya first and realized second

as children they got fake-married on the playground and riley actually gave her first kiss to maya, she just doesn’t remember it happening
