My piece for this year's Rik & Ade Fest.
Lord Flashheart, if he appeared in Series 3 of Blackadder. I made him an officer in the 10th Hussar Regiment. Mustaches were not popular in the Regency era, with Hussars and Dragoons as the exception. Hussars especially were known as dashing adventurers as well as womanizers, so it felt right to make Flashheart one. I know the uniform isn't exact. I used several references of Hussars and used what worked.

It's fest time!!! We're back, scumbags! Did you miss us? Make sure you're following us, so we'll never be parted again.
As is annual now, today marks the official start of the Rik and Ade Fest. This means you can now submit up to 3 prompts for fanart/fanfic for any piece of media featuring Rik and/or Ade. Submitting a prompt doesn't mean you have to commit to making art or fic later! We'll always need more prompts than participants!
There are no rules on the kind of prompts we will take. We take prompts for ships and prompts that are gen; NSFW and SFW; crossovers and single fandom; fluff, angst, AUs, tropes, surreal ideas or your basic one shots. Hit us with whatever you'd like! You never know who it might chime with!

Hi! So the way they fest works is that, once it's started and the new prompts list is out, people will make art/fic based on those prompts. Unfortunately, we don't accept art/fic not based on a prompt.
Last year's prompt list PDF should still be available for you to view through this post. Many of these prompts will carry forward to this year, if you wanted to get a peek at what some of the options are - but beware there are a good chunk that WILL NOT be available, as they were claimed last year, and a whole new selection of prompts will be added to this year's once people get to submit prompts in late March.
