i do think. like. if guda were to lose hope, dantes would still hold them tight and never leave them alone in the darkness. still he'd try to push them into the light but if guda's decision is the former then he has no choice but to accept it. and in accepting, he wouldnt leave them alone just like what guda's been telling him time and time again. for oberon his words of telling them that they can choose an end and out anytime is a comfort to their heart and knowing that is enough to give them hope, so if guda were to choose and end sooner than expected oberon would be surprised but take their hand into his own nonetheless so they could fall into the abyss together as a final curtain call where the world shall never exploit fujimaru ritsuka ever again

Oberon is born of hate, of frustration and curses, and made into a cloak of lies. It should have been easier if he too hated Faerie Britain, but he can't. He admitted it to Morgan, it's a story written with love, a dream crafted by a witch who yearned for a home to belong. His Bond CE states that he would wash his hands after he did good things while collapsing in private after doing bad things. 

It might not have been love, not in the form you or I or even he himself would recognize, but Oberon appreciates Faerie Britain and the people living in it. He could have orchestrated an assassination like what canonically did Morgan in, but instead he went along with a prophecy of good and evil. Of the rightful king overthrowing the cruel tyrant. A perfect fairy tale ending for Morgan's animated corpse of a land.

Artoria on the other hand has no care for the place. She couldn't care less about the faeries living on it, going about their thoughtless cruelty. She couldn't care less about the humans, about the curses that piled up, about the guilt of the faeries, about Morgan's love, if given the choice without fate holding her neck, she would have gladly fuck off out of the accursed place.

But she didn't. Even when she is living in the worst state of living possible, when existence itself is a pain and she too is living beneath layers and layers of lies, there is still hope, a beautiful star she has to keep walking forward for.

Maybe it's in their nature, maybe it's the environment they grew up in, but isn't it funny? 

The reincarnated demon lord, their prophesied destroyer, the harbinger of Britain's doomsday is the one who appreciates the place. Who grew up among friendly critters and met a lovely princess. Who orchestrated an ending in defiance of his own script, and whose final folly is the beautiful star that he sees.

The child of prophecy, the hero that arrived from paradise, the absolver of Britain's guilt is the one who has 0 care for the place. Who grew up seen as a cursed tool. Who went along with her script because it's the only thing left that she can do, and whose final salvation in the beautiful star that she's finally able to meet.

Maybe it would have been easier for either of them to take the other's place. Maybe the work wouldn't be as rotten, maybe none of them would have to say bittersweet goodbyes to the beautiful star if they were in the other's place.

I’m really happy with his look so far! His outfit is still just what I’ve had on hand (like the boyhood Cecile fullset shirt - although it does look good on him) but maybe I’ll have his actual outfit eventually. To be honest I like giving him snazzy new looks too though.

I do want to make his cape eventually - the fluffy boa he has on is partly for looks and partly to hide the big chunky wires that secure his wings to his shoulders.
