𝙸𝙽𝚃. :    𝚆𝙷𝙴𝚁𝙴  𝙻𝙸𝙵𝙴  𝙱𝙴𝙶𝙸𝙽𝚂  𝙰𝙶𝙰𝙸𝙽    –    𝙸𝚂𝙽'𝚃  𝙷𝙴  𝙻𝙾𝚅𝙴𝙻𝚈 <𝟹

CLOSE    UP  :        his groan sends    𝖘𝖍𝖎𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖘    down her spine ,        leads to her leaning closer ,        embracing his warmth .        jacob pulls away ,        and there’s a hitch in her breath ,        lips now swollen and cherry red .        eyelashes remain shut as she tries to embrace the moment for longer ,        heart aches as bella finds herself wishing this moment would never end .        he’s rough in ways that she’s not used to ,        in ways that she’s always wanted .        there’s a trepidation that comes with this newfound roughness        &.        she doesn’t pull away fully ,        fingers curling into the thick strands of his hair .        her breath comes out as a quiet pant now ,        green eyes slowly open ,        focus on him as the smile on her expression grows .        was this how it was always supposed to be ?        she wasn’t sure her heart could take it .

BELLA  :        i’m not outta your league ,        jake .        that’s fuckin’ ridiculous .

though bella’s mind isn’t fully focused on her words ,        fingers twitch in his hair before moving to trace his jawline .        this was something she could never have with edward ,        something that she didn’t know she was missing out on .        skin feels warm ,        and bella knows her cheeks are flushed ,        embraces the burning sensation .        she’s supposed to be older ,        more experienced ,        but obviously jacob knows a lot more about this stuff than she did .

BELLA  :        is that what it’s always supposed to be like ?

HER  HAND  IN  HIS  HAIR  is  enough  to  take  down  the  giant  teen.         never  would  he  admit  to  being  putty  in  her  hands  ,  but  anyone  who’s  ever  met  him  could  clock  it  a  mile  away.          she  had  him  in  every  way  -----------  DID  SHE  REALIZE  THAT  ?         anything  she  wanted  ,  jacob  would  provide  what  he  could.           he  didn’t  have  cullen  money  ,  but  he  had  a  stubborn  heart  that  never  gave  up  when  his  mind  was  decided.          

SLEEPING  WAS  HARD  FOR  THE  WOLF  --------  never  used  to  be  ,  but  ever  since  his  encounter  with  the  newborns  that  led  to  half  of  his  body  being  crushed  in  the  blink  of  an  eye  ,  he  had  nightmares.            ones  that  left  him  sweating  &  shaking  when  he  finally  jerked  awake  in  the  night.           the  unfortunate  part  was  that  having  edward  near  him  when  he  slept  seemed  to  make  the  nightmares  worse  -----------  OF  COURSE  IT  DID  :   he  felt  like  the  newborn  had   ;   cold  &  unmoving  against  his  side.           logically  ,  he  knows  edward  wouldn’t  hurt  him.            everytime  he  wakes  from  one  of  these  dreams  ,  the  first  thing  he  does  is  reach  out  to  his  side  to  try  &  find  him.         

IF  THERE  WAS  ONE  VAMPIRE  that  jake  was  more  cautious  of  ,  it  was  jasper.           &&  the  shitty  part  of  that  was  that  jasper  could  fucking  FEEL  the  wolf’s  fear.       no  ,  fear  wasn’t  the  right  word.          he  was  . . .    A N X I O U S.             he  knew  about  the  others  fighting  background  ----  he  could  see  the  tension  in  his  body  &  the  scars  that  littered  his  skin.           it  didn’t  help  that  the  leech  was  a  GODDAMN  MODEL.             he  didn’t  like  how  jasper  could  just  stand  aside  &  still  be  the  most  intimidating  out  of  the  group  -------  even  emmett  made  him  less  anxious.            so  he  eyes  the  vampire  ,  unsure  of  what  to  do  with  the  two  of  them  alone  for  once.            everyone  else  had  gone  on  a  hunting  trip  with  nessie  ----  jasper  had  already  fed  ,  &&  jake  could  pretty  much  tell  they  left  one  behind  so  he  couldn’t  snoop  around.         or  maybe  it  was  to  actually  get  them  to  know  each  other.       EITHER  WAY  -------  

𝙸𝙽𝚃.  :    𝙹𝙰𝙲𝙾𝙱'𝚂  𝚆𝙰𝚁𝙼𝚃𝙷  𝚂𝚄𝚁𝚁𝙾𝚄𝙽𝙳𝚂  𝙷𝙴𝚁,  𝙸𝙽𝙲𝚁𝙴𝙰𝚂𝙴𝚂  𝚃𝙷𝙴  𝙱𝙴𝙰𝚃  𝙾𝙵  𝙷𝙴𝚁  𝙷𝙴𝙰𝚁𝚃     –    𝙷𝙴  𝙷𝙰𝚂  𝙴𝚈𝙴𝚂  𝚂𝙾  𝙳𝙴𝙴𝙿  𝚈𝙾𝚄  𝙲𝙰𝙽  𝚂𝚆𝙸𝙼  𝙸𝙽  𝚃𝙷𝙴𝙼

an uncharacteristic snort ,        quickly followed by a hearty laugh .        there was something about jacob’s presence that made her feel lighter ,        freer .        CLOSE    UP  :        green eyes flutter shut ,        small smile spreading on cherry red lips as his hand reaches up ,        cradles her face .        she leans into his touch ,        takes a deep breath as her heart rate increases ,        his warm scent surrounding her .        bella wanted it to be like this all the time        –        for him to be a consistent part of her life ,        for this happiness to never end .        eyes slowly open again ,        mossy hues focusing on his .

BELLA  :        that’s such bullshit jake ,        you should know that .

her heart catches in her throat when he kisses her knuckles ,        leads to a hitch in her breath .        her hands start moving before she can stop them ,        fingers tightly gripping onto the collar of his shirt and yanking him upwards ,        crashing their lips together .

HE’S  NOT  EXPECTING  THE  KISS  ,  but  he  certainly  doesn’t  pull  away  from  it.           her  attempts  to  pull  him  in  only  work  because  he  leans  forward   ---------   he’s  eager  catch  her  lips.         a  hand  comes  up  to  tangle  in  her  blonde  hair  ,  a  gentle  little  groan  escaping  into  her  kiss.               how  many  dreams  had  he  had  just  like  this  ?            dreams  where  he  didn’t  have  to  beg  for  her  affection  --------  dreams  where  she  eagerly  came  to  him  instead.            

there’s  no  treating  her  like  some  fragile  doll  --------------  he  remembers  how  edward  used  to  barely  touch  her  or  kiss  her.          HE  NEVER  UNDERSTOOD  THE  GUY   ------   at  least  ,  he  hadn’t  until  he  knew  the  truth.         of  course  the  vampire  wouldn’t  want  to  break  the  human.           but  jake  has  the  same  strength.            he  could  snap  her  just  as  easily.           but  he  wouldn’t.           he  knows  his  limits.         kissing  bella  ---  touching  bella  ?          it  wasn’t  something  he  was  scared  of  doing.

CLOSE    UP  :        lips turn up on both corners ,        eyes duck down for just a moment as she remembers the life she expected to have just a year ago .        a life with vampires ,        with the cullens .        had everything gone the way bella had planned ,        she would be a vampire by now ,        and jacob might’ve been nothing more than a distant memory .        the thought alone is depressing ,        and bella shakes it from her mind without hesitation .        the beast transforms into a beautiful prince and sweeps the princess off her feet !        what seemed to be a lost cause now turned into true love !        a quiet snort leaves bella’s mouth ,        eyes twinkling with glee as her nose wrinkles .

BELLA  :        i dunno ,        jake .        kinda sounds like you just said it to me .        but you’re right        –        blonde is definitely my colour .

CUT    TO :        homecoming dance the year before ,        a black boot surrounding bella’s broken leg ,        clunky movements as she tries to adjust the dress alice picked out for her .        bella dances with an unknown figure ,        quiet whispers shared over the slow hum of the music .        CLOSE    UP    ON    EDWARD’S    FEATURES  :        red lips smile back at bella ,        cool hands embracing her warmth ,        perfect features watching her in awe .        but it was all fake ,        all for show        –        edward had never cared for her in the way he made her think .        CUT    TO :        bella at prom ,        this time donning a suit ,        jacob by her side .        the smile on her face is brighter than the tacky lights ,        feeling far more comfortable in her skin than she had with edward        –        far more like herself .        the prince embraced her for her true nature !        for the perfections and the flaws !        it was always meant to be .

BELLA  :        i’ve never been much of a dancer …        but for you ,        i’ll make an exception .
