It never even crossed my mind to ship riddler and Barbara before but their interactions on unburied are so good. They genuinely respect each other, have good chemistry, finish each other sentences. And already are in the Barbs and Eddy territory.
They make one hell of a duet, as the Penguin in the latest live-action outing would say. There would be no hint of sarcasm in this case though.
Barbara is crazy enough to work with him, but she's not single-minded like Edward and Bruce are. She is willing to sacrifice the mission to keep her partner safe. And Edward is conscious of his compulsions yet remains focused on the mission to the point of risking his safety for it. They keep each other on their toes and watch each other's back.
Even if it's not all leading up to a romantic relationship, it's still *chef's kiss*.
