It's a Rickshaw Life

7 suitcases. 1 dragon boat paddle. And basketballs are considered carry-on worthy.

And it wasn't even planned. Go Phillies!!!!

And they're off. Last day of school. Hard to believe.

Imagine moving to Hong Kong and meeting this girl the first day of school. It's called "hitting the jackpot." Home room, hysterical laughter and sometimes a little homework.

Day #8. I will miss days like today. Foot massage, lunch and lots of laughs with these 2 ladies. I loved being a Tai Tai.

Day #9. We all LOVED the crazy holiday schedule in HK. Today is the Dragon Boat Festival and the races are conveniently located across the street on Stanley Beach. The whole town shuts down and becomes a street party with banging drums and gongs and playing on the beach with friends. Perfect summer kick-off.

Dinner at Cafe Deco and admiring the skyline from the observation deck. Celebrating this magnificent year and toasting the future. And I am getting better at selfies. :)

Day #10. His last game as a Dragon. Very sad indeed. :....(

Instead of selling lemonade this summer, she may set up a phone case stand.

Day 11. Olivia's first trip across the border and into Shenzhen. I will miss all the night markets and fabulous shopping with Olivia. It will be hard to actually pay retail again.

Day #12. Only in Hong King can you buy your ice cream and your toothpaste from the same truck.

Friday flashback. Olivia's wish for the wishing tree (August 4, 2013) ..."To come home in 1 year but have a FABULOUS experience. I miss NJ." Wishes come true. :)

I've loved living near my childhood friend. We have had so much fun together. I also love that my kids have made such strong friendships here and know that some of these kids will be lifelong friends. You will be missed. So much.
