“You can. I’m sure that’s a lot of the reason you come here.” Fae responded simply, disregarding the compliment. She wasn’t entirely sure why he was devoting all this energy to her. She thought she’d made it fairly clear she didn’t want him hitting on her and yet here he was. She contemplated acting crazy–that’s what got the usual guys to leave her alone, but then decided she didn’t really want to put on the effort. Fae decided he could talk to her all he wanted, but he wasn’t going to get anywhere with her. Not as long as he kept that smirk on his face that was irritating her so badly. “Oh yeah? Who is that?”
This was getting a little frustrating, Max had to admit. Usually, women seemed to be putty in his hands, but this one.. she definitely was putting up a fight, that was for sure. He paused for a moment at her words, wondering if it was even worth carrying on for a moment, before he decided to do so - he wasn’t someone who gave up when things got a bit difficult. “I’m not sure, you’ve not told me your name yet.” He grinned, before gesturing to himself. “I’m Max, who might you be?”
