Dick Grayson

Mar’i stood there in shock as she watched her dad fight off the men. Did he just call her….a smile broke over her face amongst the chaos. A new found strength in her, the pain in her arm gone as adrenaline rushed through her “Dad get off the ground!” she said. “YOu all picked the wrong …school.” she growled and made a giant star bolt, knocking out the remained of men i n that area. However it took a lot out of her and she staggered. She looked at Richard. “YOu…you called me…your daughter..”

Dick jumped a few men before flipping upwards and landing on an object off of the ground when she demanded it of him. Watching as she let off a large amount of energy. Taking out the rest of the men in the area. Dick jumped down after and checked one of their pulses before looking back towards Mar’i. “I did. I hope you're okay with that... Are you okay?” He asked her, moving quickly to steady her when she wavered. “We should get you out of here, so you can rest for a few minutes.” 

“Thanks Dick,” Hannah said, still focusing on her wound, not meeting his eyes. “But the nurses have more injured students to take care of, I don’t want them wasting their time on me. What he doesn’t know, won’t upset him” Hannah gave a small smile. “I’m fine. Are you okay?” 

“Alright, as long as you think you’re going to be fine. If you feel any extreme pain later, please call me, alright? I don’t want you dying on me or anything.” Dick felt himself smile back at her. “I’m fine. It’s all just bruising.”

Terry rubbed his hands over his eyes and sighed. He understood the logic in Dick’s reasoning, but every fiber in his being was on high alert and told him not to let his guard down. 

Dick smiled, he knew Terry wasn’t actually going to calm down but he figured he could at least tell them there was no danger anymore. At least not right now. The enemy still had to regroup if they were to attack again. That would take a few hours.  “I wasn’t expecting any.” Nightwing said with a nod, he let out a laugh about Terry’s response to what he said about Bruce. “It’s not that bad, it just means you’re working way too hard. How are you? Were you hurt in the fight?” He questioned curiously.

“That was too easy,” Terry muttered as he re-bandaged his wrist; jaw clenched in silent contemplation. It seemed too smooth of a victory despite all the casualties and injuries. Though Stark and Banner had been pretty effective in their assault, the enemy seemed to back off way too readily.

“Terry, you’re beginning to sound a little too much like Bruce.” Dick told him with a small smile. “This was a victory, and even if they come back this is going to give us a little more time to be ready. Relax for a little bit.” 

“Can you stop starring, I’m fine” she said as she bandaged up her side torso. “Pass me some more bandages” she ordered, gesturing to the shelf of bandages. 

“Hannah,” Dick spoke softly removing his mask and placing it to the side before grabbing some more bandages. He was only in the infirmary for her. There wasn’t a scratch on the acrobat himself. But God knew Dick wouldn’t let his family members suffer alone. “Maybe you should have a nurse look at that. Instead of doing it yourself. Bruce is going to be upset with me if he finds out I didn’t get you looked over by a professional.” 

Koriand’r could tell how exhausted and tired he was. Dick was most likely over working with her not here to force him to stop and take a break. Her eyes fluttered shut as his lips fell against her skin, smile brightening. Being the Queen for Tamaran was very stressful. This was definitely a long needed break… Maybe Dick wasnt the only who was over working to the point of it being unhealthy. “Im finally home-” She murmured happily, letting her fingers run through his tangled black hair. The Alien missed this so much. She missed him. Absentmindedly her other hand ran over his chest and over his heart, letting the familiar heartbeat pound through her bloodstream.

For the last few days Dick had been sleeping in Kori’s bed instead of his own. He missed her a lot. Maybe too much in the time that she was gone. It was about 3pm, and he was passed out on her bed. His alarm still going off letting him know that he had things to do right about now. But he was too tired, too out of it to even realize. He had been catching a cold so he was trying to rest up when he wasn’t busy. When he felt the kiss feather against his head, Dick’s eyes fluttered open and he stared into Starfire’s bright green eyes. A smile immediately making it’s way across his face. “Kori, you’re back!” He beamed, leaning forward and kissing her a few times on her face.

Zalia mirrored his smirk, she wasn’t ashamed for having good tastes. “Well good, flexibility is always an advantage,” she said hinting at an innuendo, anything to make others feel uncomfortable she would do. She grinned, “I knew you couldn’t say no, Wednesdays and Fridays sound great,” her lips curled manipulatively, finally she would be able to fine tune some of what her mother had taught her. 

Richard caught her innuendo but decided not to show it more attention besides shooting her a look. “It’s my job to help,” He said with a shrug. “You know, you could always take my class next year if the one-on-one isn’t enough.” He said. Feeling like he should put the idea in her head. The end of the year was coming up quickly and he wasn’t sure if she wanted to give some of her summer break time to practicing with him. He grabbed his shirt and pulled it over himself after realizing he was till half naked in front of a student. 

“I didn’t come for class, professor, I came for the show,” Zalia said sarcastically, not hiding the fact she was full on checking out her teacher. When her attention snapped back to herself, she corrected, “actually I lied, I’m here about hand to hand training. You were an acrobat, and I’m a gymnast, how can I use my sexy sense of flexibility to kick ass?” she asked wanting nothing more than to be fully prepared the next time the power dampeners went on. She was a good fighter, but others were better. 

Dick couldn’t stop himself from smirking a little when he noticed her checking him out. He watched the student as she spoke to him. She wanted tutoring. Normally, Dick would decline mostly because he was busy with his case but... “I’m still a practicing acrobat.” He corrected, letting her continue. “Alright, I have a few open spots for tutoring and I don’t mind helping you out.” He told her, before going to his schedule and looking it over. “How do Wednesdays and Fridays at 3oClock sound?”

“Damian,” Dick addressed with a wide, almost goofy smile on his face. He knew of Damian’s soft side, of course he did but he couldn’t help but smile every time he saw it. “What’d you find?” He asked curiously. Damian’s hands were for the most part hiding the little ball of fur from his vision. “I’m not going to make you get rd of it. I know theres no way to stop you from taking in strays.” 

–>    Alfred knew he didn’t have to keep up his butler duties except around the Waynes, but old habits were hard to break.  He popped out of the kitchen  carrying a tray of tea.  “I hope you do not mind, but you seemed stressed and I figured you would like some Tea.  It is my daughter’s go too.” He added.

   “Alfred?” Dick wasn’t expecting to see him there, and serving students. He smiled widely at the sight of him. “I didn’t know you were coming? Do you teach?” He asked, curiously.
