so judging by how stiff endeavor was in kyushu, to both of them, high end was probably their first team up. nd it's clear through the manner in which, multiple times, endeavor was left not getting what hawks was thinking, that he was in the process of trying to figure this kid out. no familiarity at all.

however, hawks, on his end, rly has no issue making mental statements about endeavor and How He Is because he's been watching endeavor all this time from afar. he has the mentality of the fan who's been following his idol for longer than anyone and is like 'yeah i know you' even though, as his answer to dabi's video reveals, he didn't know shit about endeavor's private life
