We have a lot to celebrate this weekend!

Figaro added new titles to both ends of his name. On Friday he took Winners Dog and BOW for 3 points and his second major, Saturday he took RWD and passed both legs of his AKC Temperament Test needed for his title, and today Fig got the last three points he needed (and another major) to become an AKC Champion! He also passed his CGCA and handled himself well over a long weekend of hanging out while I was testing at the show.

They each have a monkey plushie.

Spyro is getting more confident! She swam some more loop de loops and was comfortable on the mat. She isn't quiiiite ready to jump off the mat yet, but did a little hop when I assisted her. She was throwing herself at my kneecaps as I put on her jacket.

Kermit always wants to be included in whatever the other two are screaming about, so even though he does not like water, or being wet, or swimming, he demanded that I suit him up and put him in the pool. All right, buddy. I can't say that he had a good time but he was included and that's what is the most important to Himself.

Some dogs just like to wear clothes

Before chewby came to live with us she belonged to a guy that doesnt believe in dressing up his dogs. My dad was insistent that he wasnt gonna put clothes on her other than maybe a coat during the winter cuz shes a single coated dog and she gets cold easy.

My mom buys her clothes but my dads usually the one to put them on her. Usually accompanied by baby talk. She is very dramatic. Some nights she needs a grand invitation into bed and she will pout on the couch until she gets it. This dog almost ripped her dew claw clean off running through the backyard and barely reacted but if you even lightly brush her leg after shes had a vaccine she'll yelp as if shes suffered a grievous injury and look at you with the biggest saddest eyes until she has been properly comforted. One time her ball was stuck under the seat in the car and she WAILED the entire drive home like it was the end of the world. Her resting face makes her look SO worried. All the time.

Holly Mop who was beside me in bed got up and trotted into my office. Came back into the bedroom and very daintily spat out a single potato chip.

Which has revealed two things:

A) that she does understand more of what I’m saying, and in true Shih Tzu fashion,chooses not to listen and

B) there’s a stash of stale potato chips somewhere in my office I’ll need to find tomorrow.

Emphasis on tomorrow
