I recently finished watching a playthrough of Deltarune Chapter 5 and Flowery reminds me a lot of Och-Kan or Xbalanque. something something weird levels of devotion and an obsession with trying to portray themselves as human and wanting to be “perfect”
Hm! You make a good point! That would certainly explain a LOT about my endearment with Flowery, he is kind of a mirrored version of Och-Kan. Heavy emphasis on mirrored, because something tells me Och-Kan would drive the Flowers to suicide too, somehow. Flowery meanwhile would probably do just fine leading the Grand Alliance of the Seven Tribes. He'd fuck up the economy a little, but nothing too suicide inducing.
