inktober day 1: poisonous

Trying to get the look of Bart down. I can’t stand any of them yet so it’s ongoing. Even revisiting the old sketch, number 3, i can still see there are a lot of changes to be made.

Random designs from kendrick which i’m starting to refine the look of. First is Bart’s gun he keeps on his bedside table. Second is the goat design for the three factions of the city. I still need to sort out if that is the largest city of the goat empire or not. Last is the emblem of Winston’s gang. The orbs are not evenly distributed around the central star but they are supposed to be. I’m on the verge of falling asleep so i’ll add these to the kendrick page later. 

I’m finally revisiting that scene from the beginning of January. It took ages to get the perspective looking half decent but I think it has turned out fairly well so far. There’s still more I want to do on it, possibly change the colours, add a ship, or even some clouds.

A robot by Gordon Zuchhold on twitter, i think from his game Max Greene. This is just a trace of the art in the link but after i’ve drawn it all i’d love to do a full body pose or two. 

First four are uninspired garbage. For the fifth, i haven’t drawn toad in ages. There’s a project on the side which i’m yet to address which focuses on toad. Maybe more on that later. Last is some sketches of Buck the tactical kobold by @7th-r, though I think that either their blog has changed or I pulled my reference image from a different blog. Hard to say at this point as the i’ve had the image for atleast a year. Missing from this last one is my trace of the reference image, which I felt was almost a repost? Or maybe not, I dunno. Either way I felt uncomfortable posting it. Also present is my shocking tablet handwriting notes which are on the sketch layer. woops!

hahaaa i’ll get through it all eventually. The influx of art ref i’ve picked up from sorting bookmarks and shit for the past 4 days. 

Also it’s now February, i’m approaching a month since I started to doing daily stuff. I’ve seen before just how hard it is to keep up and this is no different. Great for practise and building up discipline though.
