Upon Randy's arrival at the house, he took over the kitchen and helped himself to a huge serving of bacon and eggs. Our photographer was quick to pounce on Randy for a photo shoot. First up, he posed well in one of several pairs of footy shorts he'd conveniently packed. (Scenes from that later.) Then Benji got hold of him and gave him a quick going over with his clippers before he retreated to the couch to let his heavy breakfast settle.
"Is there a gym in this place?" Randy asked the photographer. "I can't miss my afternoon workout."
"There's one way down the back in the the old Mens Shed."
"It's a run down old granny flat that was cleared out and converted into a home gym. I've taken photos of some of the guys there already."
"Word is out about Mr. January, and I wanna be him. You can take some sweaty shots of me there after I get a proper haircut."
"You don't like your haircut?"
"No way. This is long for me. I want it skinned."
"Well, you've come to the right place."
Randy then starts talking about how he plans to party the night away. The photographer asks if he has a sock tan by any chance, and if he has it is a shame he missed entering the "Best Tradie Sock Tan" Competition.
"Who's the bastard who won? There would be no beating mine. I got the best looking man feet in Oz too. Just give me a few secs and I'll show ya. But I warn ya mate, other than getting em off in that other room just before, these boots n socks ain't been off in three days."
"I have this quirky thing about letting my socks marinate in me boots for days at a time."
"Somehow I think you, Ben and Benji will get along very well."
