Okay, I finally decided to write out my list of reylo fanfics that I am either currently reading or have finished reading. Since I’m a fancy lady, expect lots of smut. I mean really, I’m pretty sure every single one of these has smut so be forewarned if you aren’t into that. But life is short and I love smut so there it is. All these fics are amazing and you guys should definitely check them all out (they’re all on ao3). Her hand flinched, waking her from her sleep. Her eyes peeled open and her head spun. Adjusting to her surroundings, she got up. Now sitting on the low bunk of the Millennium Falcon, she slowly took short breaths. As she looked around, the sound of the turbulence and the loud air vent slowly faded. Then silence struck all at once. A dark figure appeared in front of her. He stood tall and his back faced her. She glanced down at the floor of the space craft and opened her mouth. She paused for a whole second, trying to figure out what to say.

“I don’t want to speak to you right now.” Her voice echoed.

“I know you don’t.” He muttered as he turned around to face her.

“You could have been here, you could have been home.” She replied as she still gazed down at the metal floor.

“You could have been here, by my..” He paused.

“You could have been ruling the galaxy.” He muttered quietly in a deep voice.

“Please, Ben.” Rey pleaded as she finally made eye contact with him.

“You know I can’t..” He whispered as he nodded no.

Rey looked down at her hands that were folded on her lap.

“I hope you can.” She muttered.

The sound of the old air vent rang back and the bond broke off. She looked up, noticing that Ben wasn’t standing in front of her anymore. Her eyes then gleamed at the broken lightsaber that was sitting on the metal control table across from her. Her hand reached out and her body stretched across. The saber was now only a few centimeters away..

“Can you fly with those?” A middle-school-aged boy calls across the street as Rey walks out of the coffee shop with Ben.

“Ignore them, Ben. Kids, you know. You were that age once.” Her eyes scold him as he glares angrily at the kid until his attention returns to her.

Meant to be of comfort Rey, gives him a warm smile. Unfortunately, it doesn’t stifle Ben from smoothing his hair down with saliva-covered fingers. The ends reaching halfway between his ears and chin, it isn’t quite long enough to cover them all the way. He started growing his hair out at the beginning of summer. Now fall it’s still not long enough, but Rey is rather fond of his ears anyway. Has been for years, finding them endearing and unique only to him. Ben is simply a unique guy with a large, almost awkward nose to go with his rather large ears, but truthfully, everything about Ben is over-sized. Being his next door neighbor, Rey may have snuck a peek or two over the years through their windows that happen to face each other across a narrow gap between their houses.

Once the skinny, gangling boy with a terrible haircut he’s grown to be a handsome young man with a body hard as the brick walls their houses are held together by. A couple of years spent in the gym will do that to a guy. His pectoral muscles put her breast size to shame. In truth, he knew he had to do something to make himself feel better, even so, he occasionally gets teased. Rey reaches up and gives a gentle tug on his left earlobe, the one she is softly considering sucking between her lips if she were tall enough to reach.

“Leave the lil’ guy alone.” She giggles at his frown.

“I wasn’t as cruel at that age. I should go over and show him why he shouldn’t make fun of strangers.” Flipping the kid off, he allows Rey to redirect him down the sidewalk. “What a little asshole.”

“Ben, he’s a child!” She laughs at his shrug. “Let’s just get home.”

Home where she can say goodbye to her neighbor friend who isn’t a real friend, but also not, not a friend. Not really sure what he is, it doesn’t make a difference when she spies on him. A bit possessive of him, having watched how the neighborhood kids treated him at times, but she doesn’t have any claim on him. He’s two years older and in community college while she finishes up her senior year of high school a year later than she should have. They have only more recently become friendly towards each other again. For a few years he didn’t talk to her much because it added to his teasing with a diminutive, young girl defending him, but now that she is a little more developed with slim curves, and an obvious but small bosom. She doesn’t have to wear a bra under her tank tops, so she is quite okay with it. What matters is he sees her now more as a young woman than the little girl next door.

It’s quite possible that he’s been flirting with her as they’ve spent a few moments together here or there, walking to and from their collective schools located down the street from each other. A college man walking her home, she’s good with it, but she can’t be certain that he isn’t just being friendly with his generic touches on her shoulder and pats on the back. Utilizing those times to respond and feel all the work he has put into his body, that frankly makes her quiver a bit, imagining how someone his size could fit inside of her petite body. There has to be a way that works, because she is bound and determined she is going to let him fuck her into infinity sometime hopefully, in the near future. He has to, she has saved herself for him, he just doesn’t know it yet.

“You alright there?”

His question brings her out of her thoughts to realize she has pulled her thighs together a bit, making her walk a tad strange. But the pressure helps her imagine him invading that part of her crushed between her legs. The friction a yummy sensation to wait for him by.

“Oh, I stepped on a rock back there.” She motions over her shoulder casually with a grin.

Jesus, help me, he doesn’t see what’s happening to me. I need him to fuck me one of these days, I only need time to convince his respectful ass.

Walking it off, she hopes she isn’t contracting a blush. Or maybe that would be a good segue to her long developing crush on him. The crush that lead her to have her first orgasm rubbing herself with her hand, wishing it were him after watching a porno at a friend’s house. It’s hard to mimic the idea of his hands doing it for her seeing as they could palm a basketball like she can a tennis ball. A giant to her slim frame, they don’t make any sense physically. God, she has every intention of making it work though. It’s all she has ever imagined, her with Ben and his hands all over her body.

“Why do you always look at me like that?” His smirk bleeds a warmth across her cheeks.

“I don’t look at you in any way,” she defends.

“Rey, you are blushing so hard right now. What is with you these last few weeks? Are you getting sick?” He places the back of his hand to her forehead jokingly.

“Of course not.”

It is a warm enough fall day to blame it on the weather, but he already knows how easily chilled she becomes preferring the warmer days of summer. He has always thought she was crazy for it, but her skin is beautifully kissed with freckles and an everlasting glow because of it.

“Do you have a lot of homework tonight?”

“As always.”

“You can always ask for help, I’m right next door,” he offers with a smile.

“I don’t need help, but thank you.”

“Alright if you insist.” His hand glides quickly over her lower back before he heads up the path to his house, giving her a lovely view of his ass in his jeans. “Oh hey, Rey, next time a guy asks you to spend time with him, toss him a bone why don’t ya.”

Bowing her head to hide her embarrassment she runs up the steps from the main sidewalk to the path to her own house. Giving him a wave goodbye. This is a tasty new development.

“Rey?” Her name has a different distinction to it. “Same time tonight?”

Pulse throbbing in the middle of her chest with the sound of her heart pounding, she watches him standing on his porch, her mouth half-open. “What?”

“You know what I am talking about. Nine o’ clock almost every night. I’ve seen you, but if I keep letting you, you know I’m going to need something in return?”

Keep letting me? Something in return? What’s that sound in his voice?

“Ben Solo, are you blackmailing me?” Rey asks incredulously.

“Maybe, if you think you might be up for it.” His cheeks burn a bright red color.

“We’ll see.”

I haven’t used Tumblr in a HOT minute. Can’t say I miss it much LOL but this place is a good source of fandom content, and I do wanna post my Reylo videos here still. SO here is this Reylo Mermaid AU I made!

Story:

Everything stopped. The sound of the vibrating canaster against the metal counter stopped. Even the turbulence of the ship paused. It was him.

He appeared across the ship. His dark flowing cape was still, and so was he. Rey dropped the Jedi texts that she was reading and stood up from her seat. Ben was not locked in her gaze, he was rather facing the other direction with his back at her.

He felt someone. He felt someone’s eyes following him. His head tilted to the right — just slightly — to acknowledge her presence. Rey kept walking slowly behind him. She was discovering this man. She rose her hand to his shoulder. Her fingertips, an inch away. She wanted to comfort him.

She softly placed her hand on his right shoulder. He flinched. With this sort of contact a vision flowed into her mind. She saw it. There was a young boy with black locks of hair, sitting alone. With his head in his hands it seemed as if he was crying. Rey walked towards him. Her sad eyes looked down at him. The door opened behind her. She turned around to figure out who it was… it was Leia.

Rey gasped for air. Her mind snapped back into reality. She had realized that her eyes were tearing up. She quickly wiped them. She wanted to hide her care for him. Ben turned around to the sound of her heavy breaths. She saw something, he thought. His curious, hungry eyes wanted to know what she saw. He was afraid of this — he feared this.

Rey looked down to her feet. She was trying to get things back together without him noticing. His eyes followed down too.

“What did you see?” He asked quietly.

Why was he so gentle with her? Even after all that happened… why?

“I saw.. you.” Rey stuttered.

Rey looked back up at him. Her sad eyes were growing colder.

“You had a family.. but they were too busy to ever be with you.” She recalled from the vision.

“Ben I’m sorry.. I didn’t know.”

“You didn’t need to know.” He replied.

The connection broke off. He vanished and the sound of her surroundings came back again. This connection was something farther more than Rey had expected.

Rey continued to read the texts. She searched for answers about her connection with Kylo Ren Ben. There were small excerpts about force positives having a deep connection with one another.. it also spoke about why two force positives had this sort of bond.

“Soul mates of the force have the ability to find each other and call to one another.” She read.

It couldn’t be.. could it? Could Ben possibly be the person who would fill the gaping hole her family left? And was it possible for her to do the same?

Ben was pacing around in his private quarter. She saw my weakness, he thought. If she doesn’t feel the way I believe she does, she could use it against me.

But what does he believe? Does he believe she is the light that will lead him to redemption? Or does he believe that she’s something much more?

I’m so confused… I’m afraid.

Once they arrived onto the star destroyer, Ben was thrown into a cell and Rey was ripped from his side. Ben’s lungs burned from how loud he was yelling. Rey was reaching out to him with tears in her eyes as she was dragged out of the cell.

The caged ysalamir watched him with beady eyes— and all Ben could feel was the complete emptiness that was left behind. Without the Force, their bond was slammed shut. He couldn’t feel Rey, he couldn’t see her. They were alone.

His lips trailed down her neck sending lazy sparks of pleasure across her shoulders.

“I cannot believe we’ve been together for three years and yet… you still blush when I compliment you.”

“I can’t help it,” she sighed. “I look in the mirror, and I see … flaws. Things I wish were smaller or fuller…”

She paused to press a soft kiss over his heart.

“But then you look at me and talk about me like… like I’m better than your wildest dreams.”

Rey shook her head, covering her face reflexively.

“How could I not blush?”

Ben grinned.

His fingers traced subtle patterns up and down her back.

“I like it.” He chuckled. “It’s adorable, and,“ his arms tightened slightly around her waist, “I can’t help looking at you that way.”

Silence stretched comfortably between them. They only had a few more hours before his flight.

“It’s amazing,” she whispered after a long moment. “It’s… overwhelming and reassuring and sometimes it’s hard to believe it’s for me.”

Her body pressed intimately to his. She could feel him smiling.

“You know,” he brushed a soft kiss against her forehead, “as much as it hurts to leave, there’s something truly wonderful about coming home to you.”

“I wish you didn’t have to go,” she whispered again.

Ben sighed and drew her tightly against his chest.

“I always find my way back.”

But he hadn’t.

He hadn’t come back.

Not this time.

He left that morning for a research trip in Chicago. He boarded the plane. The airport had security footage of him leaving the terminal.

And then…

Nothing.

Nothing for 5 months.

No body. No leads.

Not a trace of Ben Solo anywhere in the world.

Yet for Rey, he was everywhere…

Memories of him flooded every moment. She could see his smile. Hear his voice. Each time she closed her eyes, he was there.

And she could not bear to push him out; It was all she had left.

She waited everyday for a call, but after 5 months she had almost stopped expecting it.

“Mrs. Solo, this is Detective Dameron. Now… I don’t want to get your hopes up, but… Chicago PD sent over a special bulletin this morning. There’s a man in one of their hospitals-”

Rey didn’t hear the rest of his sentence.

Ben.

She boarded a plane to Chicago less than two hours later. Poe’s Dameron’s words played through her head over and over again…

“He was in a coma. No ID… face is badly scarred… was attacked… robbery gone wrong…”

Her fists clenched.

“…prints weren’t in the system, but neither were your husband’s… he has no memory of anything prior the hospital but…”

Her gaze brushed over the clouds passing serenely underneathe her window.

“…said he dreams of a woman every night. It’s the only thing he can remember… described her to a police sketch artist…”

She bit back a sob.

“Rey, she looks just like you.”

Hospitals smell the same in Chicago as they do in Pittsburgh.

It’s the last thought Rey has before she sees him.

Ben.

Her Ben.

For the first time in 5 month, Rey Solo can feel her heart beat again.

His eyes were closed when they pulled back the curtain, but now they flutter open and his gaze locks on her immediately.

“It’s you.”

She almost breaks then, but she can’t.

Not yet.

“Do you know who I am?”

Her tone is calm and even, just as the doctor instructed.

Ben shakes his head.

“I don’t… but,” his eyes scan her in a way that is both cautious and achingly intimate, “you’re even more beautiful in person than you were in my dreams.”

Then, suddenly, he’s looking at her in the soft, familiar way he always has.

His eyes fill with appreciation… adoration… awe…

Love.

It’s all there.

And Rey feels heat begin to flood her face in response.

Just as it always has.

“You’re blushing,” he whispers. His head tilts, “even after… three years…”

The monitor next to his bed begins to beep frantically.

“…Rey?”

Recognition sparks chaotically in his gaze.

“Rey.”

She’s in his arms even before he’s finished breathing her name.

Violent sobs rack her body. She’s screaming and trembling, but none of it matters.

Because he’s here.

Ben is shaking beneathe her. He’s holding her too tightly and it’s the most glorious thing she’s ever felt.

“What’d I tell you?” he whispers desperately against her mouth, “I always find my way back.”

I changed the prompt a smidge, but I hope you like the final result. I wanted it to be hopeful and inspiring to match your luminous soul, but it got a little heart-wrenching in the middle…

There is a deliberate tense jump at the end. I tried to mark it clearly with dividers. I wanted it to feel very immediate.
