Random Migueli Headcanon: Ever since the moon tattoo and revenge-quest fiascos, Hawk worries about coming on too strong. And ever since his fall, Miguel craves human contact. Hawk admits one night he doesn’t know how to show his affection properly. Miguel asks him just to hold him in a hug, nothing more. So Hawk does. And the two learn they can stay like that for hours.

I think about how during his heel-face moment, while Hawk was struggling with Kreese’s and Johnny’s words, the only other voice he heard was Miguel’s, meaning he holds Miguel’s opinion on about as equal weight as he does his Senseis’. 

Random Migueli headcanon: Hawk spends half his time quietly fuming that he has to spend so much time on his mohawk to get it to look just right while Miguel just rolls out of bed with fluffy adorable hair, and half his time internally cooing like a happy rooster when Miguel lets him play with it.
