I’ve actually came across one comment which made so much sense when you look at it on a different context. The comment was something like “it’s always non-Azzi fans who are against this trade gimmick”. Because seriously, they don’t care how Azzi is being played. They don’t care if she’s competing or put in a position to individually succeed. What matters to them is the team wins. Having Azzi alone secures a lot of wins. Because for me it means that the stats their faves put up won’t go to waste. As long as their faves get the stats, the highlights, the wins, they don’t care whatever happens with Azzi.

Azzi FC is just asking for equal opportunities and proper utilization. That’s it. I don’t even know why they be pressed with that.

I’ve always been neutral with Geno. But stop saying that Azzi is his favorite because she simply isn’t. I have faith in Azzi and we all know she deserves to be an all-star. From a losing record to being #4 in the league right now. Yes, Dallas added other few pieces but Azzi changed this team and no one can tell me otherwise. It has been evident on how this team kept losing and trailing when Azzi is not leading the charge. The media is not acknowledging this enough.

I am preparing myself for the worst though because she’s competing with vets who are also big names and great contributors to their own respective teams.

Honestly, Azzi has been placed in an unfair situation compared to her competitors. She’s solely anchoring Dallas’ defense while steadily contributing to the team’s offense but she’s being continuously reduced to a relationship and people are riding on it because they have their own agendas to push. No other rookie is doing it like her. She’s a legit two-way player. She’s producing on both ends of the court. Of all the rookies, she’s 2nd on offensive production and 1st in defense with her name being included on the same list as A’ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart. I just wish people would see her for her and not only because of off-the-court stuff.

I’m just really hoping she makes it 🙏
