when she pulls the mask away from her face to reveal blue eyes and that ever familiar brand, his smile falters slightly. it really had been a long time, hadn’t it? here he was, broad shoulders and strong arms, and luycina doesn’t seem to have changed nearly as much.
he’s suddenly aware of his gray hair and gray eyes, gray where brown and black should be, and brushes his fingers through it almost self-consciously.
“ it has been kind to me. things here are rough, but i can’t say i’m unhappy. pray tell, why are you here, lucina? ”
Noting the aged look, she wondered how long had it truly been. How long had her eyes laid upon him, Owain, Luna-- Time hit them hard, however she didn’t seem to be so greatly altered like her friend before her. In her mind, time either went faster here than Ylisse, or he just aged quite differently--
