“ i can’t say that i have ever met a witch before but i have met a druid. nice guy, “ she nodded her head with a grin as she thought back to beacon hills and dr deaton. “ i will sorely be disappointed if no one does. what’s the point in tradition if no one does it ? “

      he  smirked  at  her  response,  sighing  softly  as  he  did.  “  in  this  town,  it  wont  be  long  until  you  meet  one.  ”  he  posed,  with  a   nod  of  his  head. 

a  small  chuckle  was  not  far  from  his  lips  when  his  brother  spoke  .  however .  regardless   enjoying  the  sight  of  his  brother  he  would   be  remiss  he  if  did  not  admit  he  had  questions  of  the  recent  events  that  took  place  in  his  beloved  city .   niklaus  didn’t  get  along  with  his  younger  brother  kol  ;  the  two  often  at  each  other's  throats  but  when  it  truly  mattered  they  had  found   themselves  side  by  side  in  a  battle  to  protect  their  family.

          ‘  it  is  true          i  have  miraculously   resurrected  from  the  dead  and  i’m  curious  to  know  how  that  is  dear  brother  .    rumor   has  it  that  i’m  not  the  only  one  who  returned and  minus   the   biblical   series  i  wonder  if  it  is  you  or  freya  i  should  thanking  ?   ’  

    despite  his  apparent  happiness  and  glee  to  see  his  brother,  kol  could  not  help  but  wonder  how  his  presence  was  permitted.  he  only  assumed  it  was  the  handy  work  of the  witches,  and  despite  his  happiness,  their  help  and  assistance  always  came  with  price.  in  that  moment,  however,  he  was  choosing  to  enjoy  it,  at  least,  until  klaus  chose  to  ask  the  question  himself.

    a  frown  plastered  over  kol’s  expressions,  brows  knitting  together  in  concern.

    “  little  freya  has  either  kept  this  on  the  down low ,  which  i  assume  she  would  not -- so  on  this  occasion,  i  assume  it  is  the  handy  work  of  another.”

 “ you’re one to talk. “ the amused original retorted, eyes lighting up from across the room.

the red headed banshee raised an eyebrow in surprise as she heard a voice respond back to her before looking over at the male beside her, “ by the sounds of it, it seems like you are a local around here, ” she hummed softly, “ where are the places to hang on the weekend? ”

     “Be careful, the bartender is a feisty one.” Kol chirped as he watched the individual walk towards the bar in front of them. He had learned the hard way, as shown by the red indentation on his cheek.

taking an empty seat at the bar, the red headed banshee flicked through her social media as she attempted to look for something; a woman on a mission. after a few minutes, she sighed before flagging down the bartender, ordering herself a soda, “you would think i could find a party or live jazz on tonight. after all, this is new orleans,” muttering more to herself, not realising the fact she had company. it had been a long time since lydia had gone out on the town at night but there was no point sitting at home, waiting for her friends to turn up.
