In every generation of Charles's long family line there has been one male to join the Order of Bourdas, known as the Order of Wolves; a secret organization which hunts down and attempts to rid the earth of magical beings. The Order’s inception is shrouded in mystery but all Charles knows is that he was trained from a very young boy, not only in how to be a lord and a gentleman but also how to hunt magical beings as a part of the Order.

Traveling the world with the Wolves, Charles has sought out and killed many Touched people; however in 1919 his nephew was killed while hunting a shaman from Singapore. This took a toll on Charles and has found himself questioning the Order’s purpose. Charles has now been sent to New Orleans with the pack to eliminate all magical beings inside the Quarter.

Rebeca “Ragi” Green. 25. Witch Hunter. Deepika Padukone.

Ragi was born in Dehli in secret due to her Indian mother and her British Lord of a father. As her father was not able to have a male air he convinced the Council at the Order of Bourdas (the Order of Wolves; a secret organization that hunts down and attempts to rid the earth of magical beings) to train Ragi as a wolf. Training in her late teens she rose in the ranks of the Order faster than anyone else.

Specializing in magical deterrents and knife fighting she became essential to her Wolf Pack and earned an honorary Baroness title. Falling in with the top pack, Ragi traveled the world for a year and has become attached to her fellow wolf Charles Gower (see canon above), sustaining a growing unrequited love for him over the years. Her travels have now led to New Orleans in an attempt to eliminate the touched population.

Sal is a New Orleans native with a French father and a Spanish mother. The people of the French Quarter glorified Sal as a half-Cajun/half-Creole worker of the people who could “save” the citizens of New Orleans from the senseless death and corruption that threatens to take over the city. Sal is the glorified “King of the Quarter.” Businesses pay him a tax, the people pay him kindness and respect, and he insures that the party never dies in the Quarter.

Dr. David “Davy” Towshead. 30s. "Police Chief". Dominic Cooper.

David grew up relatively spoiled and snarky, utilizing wits and a near mechanical outlook of people to get what he wanted. When the war came calling David had been caught in a chemical fire at a distillery, but miraculously escaped with one hand burned so deeply that it would never look the same; he has since adopted the one handed glove appearance. In New Orleans, David is in a position of power in the newly founded “joint” operation between the power hungry corporation he works for and the New Orleans police department. The joint venture that David has instigated leaves him as more of a chief of police than just a “liaison."

James DuPont was born into an old money family of the United States south; a deeply rooted, blue blooded name. He is the definition of a Southern Gentleman and has been involved in politics his whole life. He is very deeply invested in the Old Money class and determined to see the people of this class, his people, thrive.

Arthur was born into the family business, Byzantium Enterprises which manufactured steel bars and construction frames for buildings. After the passing of his wife Arthur turned Byzantium into the chief arms supplier during World War I, making them among the most profitable companies in the world. Arthur is not a nice man. He is harsh, cruel, and manipulative, but he is all of these things behind a charming smile. He wants control of the French Quarter and Byzantium is just the tool to get it.

Arthur was born in Richford, New York and son to Milford Byzas who created Byzantium Enterprises which manufactured cold steel bars and construction frames for buildings, a business which made the Byzas family among the richest on the Eastern seaboard of the United Sates. After the passing of his wife Arthur turned Byzantium into the chief arms supplier for both Turkey and England during World War I, making them among the most profitable companies in the world. Arthur looks to his success and self-stature as a model for society at large which has led him to feel a strong hatred for the religious and the altruistic. Arthur is also a strong supporter of the meritocracy ideal and more over believes that everybody has the right to keep what they earn.

Billy Bennet. 30s. Voodoo Priestess/Socialite. Rosamund Pike.

Billy, short for whatever you desire, is a socialite and comes from an Old Money family in New Orleans. She learned the Voodoo practice from her Nanny in her teenage years while her parents traveled, which they did often, coming to be known at ‘The White Witch’. She is a kind woman, not rude nor curt, but she does have some edge. She is best friends with Babette LeBlanc. These girls are unstoppable together and paint the town whenever they can. They love to party and drink. Both women are interested in taking over as Witch Queen. Being the best friends that they are, both only want the other to take the throne; yet, secretly, each wants it for themselves.

Throughout the years working as a bus boy and bar back he got to know the various hard workers of the Quarter. Since both of his parents’ tragic deaths the people of the French Quarter glorified Sal as a half-Cajun/half-Creole worker of the people who could “save” the citizens of New Orleans from the same senseless death and corruption that killed his parents and threaten to take over the city. Now Sal is the glorified “King of the Quarter.” Businesses pay him a tax, the people pay him kindness and respect, and he insures that the party will never die in the Quarter.

Babette LeBlanc. 20s. Voodoo Priestess/Dancer/Socialite. Josephine Baker.

Babette hails from a middle class, hardworking, family. Her parents passed very early on in her life which meant she was the eldest of four siblings. The African American community took care of them until Babette was old enough to work. She dances nighttime shows at Swingin’ Sally’s. Babette is very charismatic and has become a socialite in her own right. She is vampy and edgy, forceful when she needs to be but she is never rude. She is above that! Babette is best friends with Billy Bennett.

Bigby Jones. 30s. Pianist. Anthony Mackie.

Bigby was born as a New Orleans native and lived with his mother in a small “shack-like” house on the outskirts of town at a place known as the “shanty.” His mother raised him and on his ninth birthday she spent two months’ worth of wages on buying Bigby a small broken mini piano with keys missing. Even though the piano hardly worked, Bigby spent what time he had, when he wasn’t working as a “dock boy”, playing and learning everything he could about music and how to play the piano. He grew to be one of the finest players in all of New Orleans and is now the head of all things music at the most popular jazz club in Quarter as well as the head pianist.
