Holy Grails 2: The Search Continues. To each person reading this, I know you have one. A Top 10 list. Maybe it's Top 5. Or Top 3. Or Top 20. Or even 1 mythical shoe that you're still searching for. We all have it. That's why we collect, why we continue to search, why we continue to scour eBay and launch dates and blogs. . After getting the Jordan XI #45, I knew I had to find a new grail. I mean...what happens after you find the shoe you've always wanted? Find a new one of course! At this point my new object of desire was the @undefeatedinc @jumpman23 Jordan 4 released back in 2005. Most people today know it as one of those $10-15k shoes, but that's not how it started. . Inspired by the MA-1 flight jackets, the shoes were limited to 72 pairs and the only ways to get them were through UNDFTD. The first was raffle, with the tickets being a dope UNDFTD x Mad Hectic shirt. After that raffle, one full size run was offered on auction on undefeated.com, with prices topping out around 2000-3000. I tried both avenues but needless to say I didn't win a raffle or an auction. . I was resigned to the fact that I may never own these, so I happily had these sit at the top of my Top 30 wanted list. I swore to myself that if I ever got these somehow, I would retire and call it a day. That is until @footage_official came through in the clutch. Have to give a shout to @thecoolshoeshine on this one, he had a size 10 pop up and he hit me immediately. He was extremely flexible and professional in the process and in the end I could mark off another "holy grail" from the list. So what happened then? Would I retire from collecting like I said? You know what happens when you acquire a grail...you replace it with a new one #holygrails #makesneakerpostsgreatagain #tobecontinued
