I saw someone vaguing about my post going 'why did you even make this post it wasn't necessary' and I think the answer to that is that all of these people deserve to have their voices heard as they cry out for help. Not all of these are men but they are still affected by the way society treats black men due to being mistaken or mislabeled for men. Their closeness to men, whether real or imagined, places a target on their back.

Hey guess what I have more too do you think this enough black people saying 'hey this happens' before others believe us or will we have to continue crying out for someone to listen to us before anyone acknowledges the problem? so if i don’t pay up 1950 to my school before the 28th, i’ll get kicked from my classes. this is especially bad because i currently live on campus so if i get booted i’ll have nowhere to live. furthermore, i get paid via chap 35 benefits which require me being in class so ill also not get paid. so just really really bad

Back when I worked at the hospital, I had to take MRI training and it was my favorite thing every time. It was only like 10 minutes long and went a little something like this:

Hey. The MRI is basically a really big magnet and by basically I mean it is and we literally never turn it off. It's like really big. Really really big and powerful and The Magnet is always on. We don't turn it off Ever, for any reason. We mean it bro, The Magnet is literally always on. It's crazy strong and will definitely kill you. So don't bring any metal into the MRI room, man. You will fuck up the machine (because The Magnet is always on) and then you will die (again, because The Magnet is always on). Here's some fun questions for you to test your understanding!
