So this chapter is long overdue but Iâve been feeling a little unmotivated to write this story lately but that will soon change⌠I hope. However, Iâve started to write my first ever original story on Wattpad. Iâll put a snippet at the end of this chapter, I recommend reading it if you like this story. Â
Thank you to everyone who liked, commented or reblogged the previous parts<3 I hope you guys enjoy this chapter. Â Â

- Bonnie! Kai yelled at the top of his lungs over and over again but he couldnât hear a thing in return.
Kai tried to concentrate on his special vampire hearing in order to at least catch the sound of her breathing. But being too panicked, he wasnât able to focus on anything at all at this point. He walked along the road frantically moving his head in different directions in searching for her but he couldnât see her anywhere. He started to wonder if she ran away from him or if her friends had finally caught up to them and taken her. Somewhere in his twisted mind, he hoped that she hadnât left by her own choice. He wasnât exactly sure of what it was that he wanted from her but her absence from his life was definitely not it.
Suddenly, he heard a screeching sound coming from within the forest and by using his vamp speed he was quickly standing in front of a very frustrated Bonnie. Her foot seemed to be trapped between some branches and mud.
 - Bonnie what the hell are you doing out here?! Kai roared.
- Looking for you, you idiot! Bonnie growled without looking up at him, paying full attention to getting her foot out of the trap.
Kai didnât respond to her snappy comment, instead he started to move closer to her with the pure intention of helping her to get her foot free from its restraints. But before he had the chance, she pushed him away, looking at him intently.
 - Kai! Why the hell are you covered in blood?! She screamed.
 - I was hungry so I fed, he answered nonchalantly before shrugging.
 - What do you mean by that? She asked suspiciously while raising her voice even louder.
 - Oh god, did you kill someone? She asked him, deep-voiced as realization struck her.
 - Do you really want me to answer that? He glared at her as he questioned her logic.
 - What do you think!? He roared, feeling a little exhausted from her attitude.        Â
 - You canât do that, I wonât help you if you do, she answered matter of factly.
 - Then tell me, what the hell am I supposed to do Bonnie! He growled and in return, she flinched at the harsh sound.
 - Weâll have to go to a hospital and get you some blood bags, she answered after visibly thinking the question over for a while.
Bonnie returned her attention to her foot as she continued to try to pull it out. Kai looked at her and sighed before he bent down and dragged her foot out of the trap.
- What did you do to the body? She asked suddenly looking concerned after her foot was freed.
 - I burned it, Kai answered without even a single sign of guilt on his face or his voice.
 - How could you kill someone and not care?! Bonnie raised her voice in judgment and rage.
- Because Iâm a sociopath Bon, he replied as he exhaled a deep breath.
 - Do you remember when I got out of the prison world? You told me you had changed and even though I wasnât dumb enough to believe it for a second youâre still not doing a great job keeping up the facade. Bonnie huffed while looking him straight in the eye like she was waiting for him to answer a question she didnât even ask.     Â
- Actually, when I got out of the prison world, I did care⌠ But you of all people know exactly what happened to me. You, yourself locked me inside another prison world. So you know what, Bon? The caring thing didnât really work out so I stopped. He explained as he locked eyes with her.
 - But the thing is if youâre capable of caring then you canât just turn it off and on as you please unless you are a vampire, which you are. But from what Iâve gathered you still havenât turned it off yet so your excuse is just a bunch of bullshit. She snapped back with her own lecture which Kai found admirable even though she was smart mouthing him.
- Wait, why are you sure that I havenât switched it off? He asked teasingly with a playful smirk on display while wiggling his eyebrows.
 - If that was the case you would have already killed me. She took a moment to pause before hitting him with the knowledge she had gathered by being friends with vampires.
- And donât give me that âI saved you because I have plans for usâ shit because almost all of my friends have turned their humanity off. I know first hand that a vampire without humanity is ruthless so if you really were without humanity, Iâd be dead by now, she finished the lecture.
- But⌠if you already know that I care and that I havenât switched my humanity off, then what makes you so sure that I didnât care about the man I just killed?, he asked, still smirking devilishly. Â
- You know what? forget that I asked, she sighed being exhausted from all of the back and forth that ultimately wasnât leading anywhere. Â Â
- Okey then, shall we head back to the car? Kai proposed playfully. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
 - Yeah, fine, Bonnie replied, clearly still somewhat annoyed.
She started stepping towards the direction of the car but Kai casually walked up to her and picked her up bridal style and swooshed them away. In the midst of it, Bonnie tried to fight against his hold on her, but he simply ignored her attempts and continued speeding to the car.
Seconds later they were back on the road, just a couple of steps away from the car. Kai walked to the car and gently put Bonnie down in her seat. This time he didnât bother to buckle her belt in a complicated way, she managed to unbuckle it anyway. Then he closed the door behind him before speeding to his own seat.
- You need to stop doing that! she exclaimed once both of them were sitting in the car.
- Well, to be honest, Â youâre very slow and I donât have the patience to wait for you, he answered unfiltered.
She glared at him for a moment and mumbled something under her breath before she turned to look away.
- Letâs just go, she ordered, still looking away.
Kai turned the car on but didnât start to drive, instead he looked at Bonnie with a bright smile as realization struck him this time.
- Bon, why were you looking for me in the woods in the middle of the night instead of just staying put in the safety of the car? He paused but not for long before he continued.
- Were you worried about me? He asked teasingly.
At first, Bonnieâs eyes widened with shock but she quickly narrowed them while answering his question.
- Donât get your hopes up, I wasnât worried about you, she paused briefly before proceeding to speak.
- However, I was worried about any poor soul that might have crossed your path, which may I add, was a good instinct considering what you did out there, she finished before smiling at him fakely.
 - Yeah right, he said glancing at her before turning his attention to the road ahead before driving off.
They drove in silence for a while and Kai watched as Bonnie made herself comfortable in her seat and closed her eyes in preparation to fall back asleep. However, that didnât sit well with Kai and he began to sing some old tunes in order to annoy her back into an awake state. She opened her eyes before she moved in her seat so that she was sitting straight up as she glared at him, her eyes burning holes to the side of his face. Kai pretended to not notice her as he continued to face the road, trying not to give any indication of being annoying on purpose.
 - Could you not! Bonnie raised her voice while continuing to glare at him, her green eyes burning with anger.
 - Oh! God, you startled me, he acted like he didnât notice her glaring at him moments prior. Â
 - I thought you were sleeping, he looked at her as he continued to act oblivious even though the corner of his lips were slightly curving up but he still tried his best to not give himself away.
- Yeah, well I was trying to sleep before you talentlessly started singing, she said while trying to keep her voice as restrained from anger as possible.
 - Well⌠Now that youâre up, letâs play a game, he said excitedly reminding her of a kid on Christmas.
 - No, she answered quickly and sternly.
 - Oh, come on, Kai said purposely making the disappointment in his voice evident.
- Not going to happen, she responded determinedly before she cozied up in her seat again ready to give sleep a second chance. Â
- So⌠What are you going to do when I finally help you and set you free? Kai asked while ignoring her clear attempts to fall asleep.
- Never gonna see your face again, thatâs for sure. By the way, are you completely oblivious to the fact that Iâm trying to sleep? She said annoyed, expecting him to get the hint.
 - No, I just donât care, he answered while shrugging his shoulder before starting another sentence.
- Okey my turn! he raised his voice in excitement. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
- What!? No! I told you, I donât want to play with you, she said harshly before taking a second to really think about how ridiculous that sounded.
 - Bon, I must say youâre hurting my non-existent feelings, he said while trying to give his best puppy dog face.
 - I may not be a sociopath but I could literally not care any less, she looked at him smiling fakely.
 - Okey, listen up here Bonnie, he said with annoyance clear in his voice before pausing to give her the time to notice that he was being serious. Â
 - Up until this point, Iâm the one whoâs been helping you out, not the other way around so I suggest you change that attitude of yours, he said harshly but meaning every word coming out of his mouth.
 - Letâs not pretend that you saved me with the pure intention of just helping me out, she paused for effect before continuing to speak.
 - Youâre the one that wants my help for something that I donât even know about, for all I know I might end up dead but still, Iâm not only blindly trusting you but Iâm also willing to help you out with whatever it is. Donât act like this isnât a win-win situation. And with that, she ended her speech.
Kai briefly considered to tell her that he actually didnât need her help just for the sake of winning the argument. He eventually decided against it as that would only lead to her asking him why he saved her if he didnât need her? And to be honest he wasnât really sure about that himself. It was obvious that he had always been attracted to her but at the same time, he wasnât dumb enough to save one of his greatest opponents just because she was beautiful. Yeah, she had other qualities that he found fascinating but those were still not good enough reasons to save her either.
 - Fair enough, he shrugged it off while still keeping his eyes on the road.
Bonnie looked at him with shock written all over her face. He could tell that she was expecting a snarky comeback but when he didnât deliver she was simply stunned. Before Bonnie looked away Kai saw a smile forming on her lips from the corner of his eye. She was clearly enjoying her little victory.Â
Iâll let this one slide but Iâm not done with you yet Bonnie Bennet he thought to himself as he kept his eyes on the road.Â
This is going to be a looong trip and Iâm going to enjoy all of it, with that thought a small barely noticeable smirk crept its way to his face. Â Â

This is where this chapter ends and I swear things will pick up in the upcoming chapters, hang in there.Â

HIS PERSONAL BLOOD BAG - CHAPTER ONE - SNIPPETÂ
ââââââââââââââââââââ
Three days. Itâs been three days since the incident where I almost died in a parking lot. You know what the messed up part is? The fact that Arcton is currently the safest place on earth. I live in the safest place on earth and yet I was almost killed in a parking lot. And all because of them. They took everything from us, our lives, our families, and our strength.
Itâs been 5 years since they came out of their shadows and every single day since that has been hell for the living. They had strength, they had powers and they had hunger. A hunger that could only be satiated by feeding on the living. Unfortunately, I as well as everyone I love are part of the living. We are weak, we are helpless and we are their blood bags.
