Immediate relaxation washed over Dáinsleif in tidal waves at the press of his newfound love against him which garners the heave of a content sigh and the fluttering of albescent lashes to a close while his hands work to towel dry the other’s hair. Little wonder that Kaeya would need to busy himself with other sources —perhaps outside of the realm of actions he is permitted as the Knights of Favonius’ cavalry captain— to entertain himself with, irregardless of whether it is for Mondstadt’s benefit, his own satisfaction to fill his days with something to keep his spirits alight or both. For a brief moment, the Twilight Sword wonders what was better: to have a structured life with clear objectives and personal goals to fulfil bound to end or an eternal life that harbors none of those notions such as his own.

All train of thoughts comes to a halt in time to open his eyes and lock icy sapphires with loving, mismatched eyes boring into his own. This is the smile that he has come to adore so. Bereft of any concealed motives which he has a difficult time to elucidate, devoid of any concerns in the world— until a wink followed and that sufficed to send Dáinsleif a warning that something was coming despite the comfort that comes with his gentle touch. ❝…❞ Truth be told, there should not be anything strange about such a simple question, perhaps a request even. Alas, Dáinsleif knows better and he is unsure whether to take the query at face value or if he is erring in believing that there is more to it. What would be beyond to it, one would ask? My return to Mondstadt was not notified as per usual, after all.❞

         ha, so straightforward. frostwind tended to like that in people, even if at times dainslief could come off as callous or obtuse, sometimes kaeya found it charming. though it seemed that in this happenstance he’d caught kaeya’s double entendre. where he’d thought that such a reaction might be frustrating, amusing, kaeya found himself flushing involuntarily, momentary widen of his eyes the only give away. it hadn’t even been the scandalous nature of the inquiry, nor the idea that the prince’s desires had been reciprocated, but the possibility that dainsleif had caught onto kaeya’s tease, possibly even replied with one of his own ( although it had been difficult to tell, stoic face as unreadable as it was handsome. ) ah, the idea of dainsleif being able to tease and flirt in turn was an attractive one, the answer setting off a flurry of butterflies in kaeya’s stomach, but the uncertainty of it all also made kaeya hesitate. it wasn’t a bad hesitation however, if the growing, genuine smile upon his face was anything to go by. too many opportunities, and all of them promising.

albedo had never been to khaenri’ah, and yet, it was a part of xem all the same. kaeya had recognised that same, insatiable need for answers in albedo that he’d seen on gold, long long ago when he’d been but a child subject to royal proceedings. these were answers xe deserved no matter how badly kaeya feared for them. if the abyss order would not issue their return, would not deign kaeya with more answers, then they would have to seek them out, regardless of the risks. he does this for a fellow khaenri’ahn, he tells himself as they enter the domain, go deeper than kaeya had ever dreamed to in all his life as a mondstadtan — but he knew better, he did this for albedo. the one he yearned for.

this team is demolishing things in the abyss for me. i just need to finish levelling chongyun and it will be perfect.

this is my most frequently used one in the abyss, where childe is in my typical dps spot, but the real dps is ganyu.

this is an abyss team that i didn’t know i’d come to like as much as i do, and now use it as often as i can.

i’m most definitely biased but all the chatacters with khaenri’ahn lore have my heart when it comes to fluid design elements, i love the star motifs that kaeya, dainsleif, and albedo share. besides them, xiao, ganyu, and yanfei’s designs i adore. shenhe too actually !! i love the red accents on primarily cool - toned designs. ah as for least favourite designs, idk, maybe noelle ? i don’t know, i know a lot of the genshin girl’s outfits are impractical but hers strikes me as the most uncomfy.
