one of my mutuals said this before (FORGOT WHO SORRY) but i saw someone say capcom wont make any Ieon ship canon because the fans will get mad and it will lead to fewer sales and. what world are you living in that resident evil, one of the largest game franchises going strong for 30 years would lose SALES because peoples OTP arent canon??? why do people think that the tumblr-esque fandom is who capcom is appealing to? im sure they’re having a little fun toying with people because that fuckass ring is what started everything in the first place but to say that they’ll never make a ship canon because they’d lose sales is crazy 😭
