Anyone else on Tumblr will only see it after it's been recorded, Red will make a post with the recording later and characters can reply to it.
The footage opens up with Tallest Red, sneering at the camera. "Greetings, universe! I'm sure all of you will be thrilled to know I have the upper hand here and all your petty little squabbles with my soldiers have barely done a thing. Your efforts have been useless and I still remain in command. The empire never dies. And if you don't believe me, I think I have something that would change your mind."
The camera turns to show Lard Nar. He seems out of it, like he's been drugged, and he has a metal piece like a muzzle keeping him from being able to speak. He's well restrained to a board keeping him upright with cuffs and he has two irken robotic guards on either side of him, just in case. He is also wearing a metal collar that he doesn't normally have.
Red continues to rant, giving the image a chance to sink in. "In my grasp yet again, I have your precious Commandor Lard Nar. This idiotic low life worked with you pathetic creatures in an attempt to bring me and the entire empire down. But one member of your joke resistance caused a fatal mistake, getting themselves killed and dooming Lard Nar in the process!"
Red comes onto the screen again to remove the metal muzzle from the dazed Lard Nar. Lard Nar coughs and inhales deeply to talk.
"You really think I'm going to be here for long? You've made that mistake before..." Lard Nar chuckles. "The Resisty won't surrender to rescue me, they don't need to. This entire recording is pointless..."
Red laughs. "Oh don't worry, this isn't a ransom call." He extends a single PAK leg and aims it directly at Lard Nar. "It's a public execution."
Lard Nar narrows his eyes, though his gaze seems unsteady. "You're going to kill me then? Good luck with that waste..."
"Even the toughest of warriors can be broken somehow. You've already proved that you won't give up the Resisty to save yourself. So I have no choice but to force you to give up yourself to save the Resisty," Red chuckles, inching the PAK leg slightly closer.
Lard Nar watches him. "You don't make any sense."
"I'm not trying to break you. I'm trying to break them. What will they be without their precious leader? They'll fall apart, into chaos..." Red hums slightly, circling Lard Nar.
Lard Nar huffs. "They're better than that. We've had an upper hand for quite some time now... You don't really think one death would change that?"
Red stops in front of Lard Nar again, seemingly pondering. "Perhaps you're right..." He retracts his PAK leg.
Lard Nar sighs before pulling slightly on his arms to test the strength of his restraints.
Visible to the camera, but not to Lard Nar, Red slowly pulls out a Vortian lazer blade, one of Lard Nar's.
Lard Nar glances at Red, cautious. But before he can react or even attempt to respond, Red reveals the blade by plunging it into Lard Nar's chest.
Lard Nar's harsh gasp of shock and pain is quickly followed by a sizzling from the heat of the blade burning the flesh. Red pushes the blade slowly deeper, causing Lard Nar to choke on bright blue blood.
"The best way to find out is to try it, right?" Red chuckles slightly and twists the blade to cause more damage.
Both the drugging and the wound make it very hard for Lard Nar to even get an attempt at screaming out, much less respond. He continues to choke and cough on blood as the heat from the lazer causes some light smoking. He does try to say something, but all he manages to get out is a weak groan.
Red slowly pulls out the blade while twisting it. "Let this serve as a lesson, to the entire galaxy! This is what happens to you when you defy me, when you defy the Irken Empire!"
Blood runs down Lard Nar's chest in a quick gush as soon as the blade is free. The heat from the weapon sealed quite a bit of the wound instantly, so he's bleeding less than you'd expect. The real problem is the fact a vital organ was absolutely destroyed by the blow and he's beginning to suffocate from it. He fights to breathe, spitting out blood to free up as much of his remaining equivalent to a lung as possible.
Red glances at Lard Nar, seemingly disgusted by the attempts to gasp for air despite the wound.
"Still alive, are we?" Red sets aside the Vortian blade to grab Lard Nar's jaw and force him to look up.
Lard Nar manages to growl weakly and spit blood in Red's face.
Red seems offended, huffing. "Stubborn as always..." He grabs a nearby syringe, filled with a nasty bubbling green liquid. "Ever hear of Stacartus venom?"
For those in this universe, perhaps it's something they've heard of. It's a venom from a giant alien spider that's known to kill the victim in 5 minutes if an antidote isn't admistersted immediately. It's also known to be bright green, constantly boiling, and is so potent, it will often stain the victim as it kills.
Lard Nar certainly recognizes it. He's paler, but that's not just the reaction to hearing the name of the venom, but also from rapidly losing blood.
Red chuckles. "I'd like to see you survive this." He plunges the needle into Lard Nar's neck and injects. Lard Nar tries to dodge, but he's too well injured to succeed. Almost instantly, green marks spread along his skin as the venom rapidly spreads in the blood stream.
Red chuckles and pulls the needle away, seemingly enjoying the view. "And everyone knows that if you don't get the antidote almost immediately, you die. None of you can save him."
Lard Nar gives Red a hate filled look as the venom markings spread along his face and chest, even into the wound. His breathing is becoming slower, his eyes more and more unfocused.
Red snickers. "<<Release him.>>"
Stiffly and in unison, the irken robots release the cuffs keeping Lard Nar attached to the board. With nothing holding him up anymore, the goat stumbles forward, clearly off balance.
Red watches with a wicked grin. "Still trying?"
Lard Nar puts a hand to the wound in an attempt to keep it sealed and protected, though it doesn't matter. He vomits up a brightly colored, almost glowing mass of blue and green chunks, before he stumbles again, falling onto a knee.
Red moves out of frame to change the camera angle, making sure Lard Nar collapsing doesn't hide him from the viewers. "Here you all go, your proud and wonderful leader..."
Lard Nar tries one last time to breathe in, only to cough out more blood and some fleshy looking chunks. He flinches slightly and puts his other hand on his neck, over the collar.
Relief is audible in Red's voice as Lard Nar fully collapses and more green and blue flows freely from his mouth and wound for a moment. Red begins to laugh, softly at first, before sounding like a full blown psychopath with crazed laughter as he steps back into frame to grab what seems to be Lard Nar's corpse.
"Is this how the war ends? I win! I win, you bastards! And don't come at me with any claims of a fake death." Red reaches toward Lard Nar's face and buries his claws into Lard Nar's right eye. The goat has no reaction, he's limp, with no visible breathing. The only sign of movement from him is the green venom being drained out of his mouth and wound, slowly erasing the green marks.
"He's dead alright!" Red cackles, taking his hand back, now dripping with Vortian blood. "And if you want anymore proof, I'll have his corpse chopped up and shipped to random locations in pieces! Maybe by the time you find them all, you'll be ready to surrender!"
The unhinged laughing of a murderer continues, Red seemingly having a breakdown on a disturbing level. The entire time, he leaves the camera lingering on the apparent corpse.
But unknown to the viewers, this is a trick. Lard Nar got the antidote before their very eyes, hidden in the collar which is normally meant to deliver sedatives on command. But right now, it's loaded with a powerful paralysis agent and the antidote to the venom, to keep him alive but completely immobile, to appear dead. Lard Nar had too much information that Red wasn't willing to lose by actually killing him.
"I'll be coming for the rest of the Resisty next! You're all doomed without him, and there's nothing more you can do about it!" With a last laugh, Red shuts off the camera and ends the live.
