Kylo Ren. Rose had heard more than one story about the General's soon turned First Order member. She wasn't stupid, she knew she was in trouble and that she shouldn't mouth off but that for that had burned in her since Hays Minor was blazing bright now. If she was going to die, it wouldn't be without being a couple stingers in first. "If that's all you've got you might as well just get it over with now."

”I promise it’s not as bad as it looks, Guin. Really.” Rose had burned her arm on a bit of a fighter engine that was still too hot from its last flight but it was nothing she hadn’t been through half a dozen times before. Still, she let the girl work, knowing it was really no use to fight the medics.

Rose’s eyes blinked open slowly it seemed minutes ago she’d fallen asleep but it seemed to have been hours. At first she was unsure what had caused her to wake, but a moment or two later her mind and eyes cleared and she recognized the gaze of her friend and sweetheart, frightened looking and misty. “Kei? Wha? What’s wrong? Here, I gotcha.” She opened her arms to him, wrapping him in a hug as soon as he allowed her to. She knew all about the nightmares that came with war. She had them too. Right now she just wanted to chase his away.

He was cute when he was asleep. Not that he wasn’t cute literally all of the time. But that was also probably her feelings for the man at play. Still, she found this scene endearing and she reached up to run fingers through his red hair. It was so pretty, so different from anything she’d seen growing up. She didn’t want to wake him though, so she tried to still her hands and close her eyes, snuggling closer to him as she hoped to join him in the bliss of sleep.

”Rey?” Sometimes it was hard to sleep and Rose sat up waiting for exhaustion to overtake the memories in her head. Apparently she wasn’t the only one. Rey was up too and wandering the night from what Rose could tell and she felt a pang if worry for the other woman. “Rey, everything okay?”

”Ah! Rey!” She jumped at the sound of the door opening, her eyes quickly finding the intruder and realizing who it was. Once she recognized the other girl she wore a crooked smile, amused at her own fright and the state the girl had caught her in. “You have me a fright! Come on, shut the door behind you.”
