Just a little spun...

I’m so depressed right now. I feel like nothing, totally worthless. Why stay clean and sober? I want to numb the pain, the hurt, the emptiness.

Tweaking Positively #1: Appreciate when things go better than expected. Don’t obsess over missed opportunities.

When you re-up and don’t find cut, when the bowl melts like better, when it hits like lightning. When encountering these and countless other GOOD tweaker moments, instead of rushing to tweak even HARDER, pause to enjoy and remember this moment.

Too many times I’ve seen people obsess over a plug who screwed them on a pickup, or the jerk who bunt through the bowl right after they loaded it, and so on. If it’s causing so much distress that the times you’re down drain all the satisfaction from when you’re up, then consider making a change?

Depending on who you are, this could be a change in how seriously you view the drug, a change in whether you continue using the drug, or more. I just know the people I’ve enjoyed in my life the most are those with positive energy, and I believe positivity applies everywhere, if I just remember to let it.
