I'm going to be honest, it's a little hard for me to give tips without knowing where you stand with your art. I can always give some general tips that helped and still help me, and I hope that they can be of help to you, too :)
You hear it a lot in art spaces, but practice really does make perfect. The times that I noticed the most progress with my skill are the ones where I drew the most. The more you draw, the more you sharpen your skill and train your eye to notice and break down finer details, both in your own art and in others', which makes it easier to implement those details in your art.
and study other artists! When you find an art piece that you like, try to analyze it—what do you like about it? What can you take away from it and apply to your own art?
Studying fundamentals is also important, no matter your skill level: color theory, anatomy, human form, compositions, and so on. Having a firm grasp on these elements gives you a strong foundation to explore, to break the rules, and to see what works. Like studying realistic anatomy, so you can later draw exaggerated forms and still make it look good.
You can always find specific tutorials on all these subjects online! And personally, I've always found that watching speedpaints really helps me understand other artists' processes.

I so agree! I actually think I didn't draw him with enough scars. I imagine the ones on his arms extand to his fingertips, and I want to draw bigger, badly healed scars on his jaw and neck.
I also imagine him with a half-bitten-off ear.
(also if you look closely... Some crescent moon shaped scars on his neck. A gift from mom.)

I am currently in my first year of uni! Which is very very exciting but also takes up 90% of my time and energy, which is why I won't be taking commissions any time soon.
I am, however, reserving a slot every once in while for commercial work such as book covers/illustrations (or just really cool projects that I come across, like fanzines!)

I usually update on my IG when I do conventions! I do a lot of small local faires so I limit con updates to IG as to not flood my other socials.

Both of these books changed me. Consider reading them or please share for someone else who might. It's never a bad thing to learn more.
Inside the Gas Chambers: Eight Months in the Sonderkommando of Auschwitz by Slomo Venezia This is one of the only books I've found that touches on the living conditions and viewpoint of a Jew from Greece. Reading it, the author felt like a friend. It was horrifying.
Nazi Doctors: Medical Killing and the Psychology of Genocide this book explained people were taught to completely separate Jews from being human in people's minds in the years leading up to the Holocaust- especially in the medical field. It has interviews with some of the doctors who did these things.
The site for the books also has an archive of images, films, objects, publications, recorded sounds and documents. You can find information on many communities.
