                “     you ask of me  ?  to help YOU ?  to become KIND  ?  the god of death  ?     ”        speed is an illusion of time  .  time is an illusion of a tired race begging for the stones to grace  &  crack open their skulls  .  the speech begins at the top of a crumbling statue  ,  a small tower of pisa of its own divine making  ,  and ends in the child’s face  .  dark strands billow out as if they were under water but there was no water to be found on the land that their feet touched  .

          YET  ,  there had to be a reason why he allowed her to embark into this fallen battlefield  .  why his followers shrank back into the bark of whence they came  &  the deity was interested in KNOWING HER INTENTIONS  .  the serpent drilling holes in his gut had sworn she only brought good intentions  &  it shall be smug to know it was right  .  he wonders if she was scared of his stature  ,  appearance  ,  how ungodly it all was  .  YET  ,  calloused fingers covered in moss  &  holly brush the tears that plastered the young girl’s face  .  a god of death  &  illness  ,  yes ,  albeit he never did like when people CRIED  .        “     this is no place for the likes of you  .  i am not your PARENT  ,  child  .     ”

          he rarely made time for those who kissed his feet  ,  wash his hair in their blood  !  to make an acceptance of this one would only bring burden  /  nothing more  .  no matter how sad she appeared  .  no matter how she got here  .  she was not his to claim  .

ah   ,   perception   ?        SUCH   A   DEPTHLESS   SENSE  .          the   third  eye   opens   its   yellow   waterline  to   a   fragile  word   /   a   stark   sight  amongst   so   much  life   &   greenery  ,   yet   she   levitates   gracefully  in   all   her   smiling   sorrow  .             "  .  .   is   death   not   the   greatest  mercy   of   all  ?  "             at   least   when  it   is   final  :   this   much  even   a   child  like   her   has   felt   .          in   another  universe   ,   she   sleeps   /   in   this  one   ?          SHE   TRIES   TO   RESIST   CLAWING  OUT   HER   PITLESS  STOMACH   TO   BRING  HER   OWN   WORLD  BACK   !          she   wishes   to   co   -   exist   with  the   deity   in   her     --------  ----   --     even  if   her   humanoid  body   had   never  been   her’s   from  the   very   start  .          this   familiar  motion   :   tears  were   taken   from  her   &   suddenly  it’s   as   if   she’s   been  thrown   into   a   river   of   time   /   ICE   -   COLD   ,   yet   pleasantly  smooth   .

            ❝     this  is  not  a  world  you  should  be  in.    ❞     SHE’S  THE  FIGURE       of  a  perfect  soldier   ,  an  army  of  one   who  needs  no  sharp  teeth  or  claws   ,   only  herself   &,   her  sword.    it’s  like  it  was  an  extension  of  herself  ,  of  her  memories  yet   to  be  upheld.    gaze  ice  cold  hidden  behind  a  blindfold  that   allowed  her  to  see  all  evil    /   &.  hide  many  secrets  more.     she  hovers  over  this  new  figure  ,  unknowing  of what  it  truly  meant.
