But instead of the fandom in my language finally understanding him as a character and stopping the hate, they wrote in the comments, “So now Kirishima will finally stop sleeping with women?” Dude, it’s been 35 chapters! He pretty much stopped doing that around chapter 20, in the early arcs! Now they’re literally showing you how he’s afraid of losing Yoshino and how he loves her, and you’re *still* talking about this? Some readers have already explained to them that, for heaven’s sake, this is a yakuza story, and he’s someone who grew up and was shaped by that world. Stop shoving this “he sleeps with women” narrative into every single thing!
