My partner and I are doing something very important. Refugee Lesbian, bisexual, queer and transgender women don't have services that can support them. We remain invisible. As you know Tina is doing a Ph.D. and her primary goal is to create a community where women belong and have peer support from other women who understand their experiences. She is organising a 3-day retreat where all women can meet with each other as a group, where we can share our strengths with each other, empower each other, affirm our agency, and build the community where we belong. We all need to hear some good news that will give us the fuel and strength to move forward and fight for justice.
