âFair point, but Iâm not. Blame my mom, the doctors told her I was a girl and she was so set on the name Parker she named me it anyway.â

âI was a serial killer do you really think Iâd be in college, studying and taking care of my sisters? And my name is Parker.â
âProbably, who looks for serial killers in an arts college. I knew a girl knew Parker once, never a guy though.â
âYeah, Iâm not that way. Donât get me wrong butâI do try my hardest to get main roles in plays butâeven when I donât get them, I donât get upset. Because thatâs just how show business is. Youâre right. It really doesnât. You canât pitch a fit and expect everything to be handed to you.â
âWhat type of plays do you enjoy then? Are there many different types, I donât really know if musicals fall under genres.â
âTurns out the old man canât make it for Christmas this yearâŚwhich means Iâm spending the majority of it on my ownâŚunless you wanted to join me?â
âI donât even know your name, for all I know you could be some serial killer who allows people to take them into their homes on Christmas every year and then, well you know.â
Have you ever accidentally set fire to yourself?
âOnce or twice, when I was much younger. But I am vary careful in my practices, I can assure you. I do still have a scar on my foot from once incident.â

âI love them. Yeah, I agree on that. Gods no! Iâm far from a diva. I may be plucky and all but, a diva? Not something I can ever be.â
âToo many people I have worked with, they all want to be in charge of everything. But they donât know what theyâre doing, it doesnât work like that.â
Gabriel had gotten used to moving through motions in his own house with both his parents hardly being present. It was hard to deal with emotions outwardly when there was no one around to deal with them and he began to hide them away like prized possessions. It wasnât until his family has found him, did they begin to make a world where emotions were on the forefront. Feeling the girls arm, he looked at her slowly. âIf I dont pretend, people ask questions and want to fix me. I dont want to be fixed Ren.â His voice painfully quiet as he spoke, leaning a bit into her touch regardless of how stiff and awkward it was. It was still an attempt at comfort that he respected her for. His next words were barely higher than a whisper. âIm unfixable.âÂ
Ren tried to offer a smile in comfort, she hoped it would make the boy feel slightly at ease as he looked to her. In hindsight it probably looked about as uncomfortable as her stiffened hug would have felt, but it was something at least, if not a small gesture. âYou donât need to be fixed,â Tightening her grip in his arm and pulling him in closer was the best she could think to do. It was inappropriate to offer him the bottle of vodka, possibly insensitive to take a scoop if icecream. She had to say something, but she never had been great with words. âI think you are perfect, there is nothing too fix. Except maybe your hair, that is a mop.â

âOh well thank you! Musical theatre isnât bad at all. Itâs actually fun!â
âMusicals are alright to work on, but more finicky work. Everything happening in real time is difficult, especially when youâre working with divas. You are not a diva are you?â
âReally? And yeah I am. Honestly, my major is acting thoughâIâve been tempted to change it to musical theatre. Not sure if itâs too late to do that thoughâŚprobably but hey, Iâm sure with being an acting major, I can still go for Broadway.â
âI wouldnât tell you a lie to make you feel better, so really. Acting is not a bad major, worse than musical theatre but that is probably because of the people you have to work with.â

Aideen chuckled as she looked at Ren. âItâsâfrom the Broadway production called âFinding Neverland.â The songâs called âWhat you mean to meââ She replied. âItâs a really good song. My favorite to be exact.â
âNever been a fan of broadway, but that song is nice. Are you a fan of broadway then? Because if thatâs the case you should be in musical theatre instead.â
âI just donât want to be in the way. Iâm not very good nor am I a good runner. Iâm slow, I just like to stay in shapeâwell, I like working out, honestly. Iâm just not comfortable with how I look, thatâs why I come early, no oneâs here to see me.â
âIt is okay if you are slow, or not good at gym. I promise while you work out I can look other way, no need to feel self conscious.â
âFine..itâs a deal.â Aideen chuckled before softly sighing. â Standing here. All at once. All the words run dry. Something changed, Canât explain, And I canât deny. Turning in circles And blurring the lights The unspoken is calling us tonight. I wonât lie. Iâm a little bit frightend Of my imagination Swear Iâll try Iâm feeling enlightened. Youre my inspiration We can fly if we want to I promise that faith will give you wings. Just take the second star on the right. Straight ahead till morning lightâŚâŚâÂ
When Aideen started singing, Ren lifted her hands to cover her eyes which she squeezed shut as she just listened. It wasnât until she had finished that she allowed herself so slowly lower her hands back to her side, peering her eyes open with a grin resting on her lips. âI havenât heard that song before.â
Aideen glanced around before chuckling and corssing her arms. âYouâwant me to sing?â
âI can close my eyes if it will make you feel better? Or turn the other way? I can show you some practical effects after if you would like, talent for a talent.â
âSadly it isnât but hey, itâs alright. I..also love to sing. Butâthatâs only when no one is around.â
âI am almost nobody, does that count?â Looking up at the girl with slight amusement, she pointed around to make her point at the emptiness.

âPleasure to meet you. HonestlyâŚriding horses or reading. Though, the first is impossible here. So Iâll just stick to reading.â
âItâs defiantly not the place for horse riding, but it is for reading. I would offer some material, but I donât have any fiction on me..â
ââI know. Itâs just one of those days. Itâs complicated. But thank you for trying to help. Iâm Aideen.âÂ
âAideen, I am Ren Koizumi. What makes you feel better on days like this?â
