My piece of Jesus's Tomb, This is my third piece for my artist investigation, which explores how can an artist use color and texture to convey the Bible? This is an art piece of Jesus's tomb. In this piece I explored texture working with Acrylic paint, paint thickener, posca marker and watered down acrylic paint. The storm clouds represents when the storm that happened when Jesus died on the cross and the sunlight represents when the storm cleared. The flames on the sides, along with the locks and keys represents how Jesus went to hell and unlocked the locks so that we could be set free. I will try to show the sides of the piece another time.
