XANDER:
ā of course i did. iād go anywhere just so i could see you.āĀ
it was partly true ā heād go anywhere to see him BUTĀ because he provided xander with the distraction he needed, the feeling of want he needed just to get by for a while. it was incredible just how things seemed to come together between them. he didnāt even mean for it to be like this, but he couldnāt help himself because of how enthusiastic and naive the other seemed to be.Ā
remy just made it all.. TOO EASY for him.
he shifts, providing the other with more room. with the position they were in now, xander could clearly see just how expressive and innocent the otherās eyes were. he felt captivated, almost guilty about their entire set-up ā but he brushed it off nonetheless, opting to give him one of his trademark smirks.Ā
ā oh. i see. well, ā he starts, shifting a bit more.Ā ā did youĀ miss me? ā he questions, reaching out a hand, his thumb brushing away a few locks of the younger maleās hair.Ā
ā ā because i did.Ā ā
The brunetteās heart practically skipped a beat when he heard the other male say that he would go anywhere just to see him. Him. Remington Theroux. In his fifteen years he had never once heard those words leave anotherās mouth, and to hear them down- from Alexander, out of all people, made his heart race. And while it excited him, it also terrified him. It took every inch of his self control to remain calm, his hands were shaking, and he could feel the sweat forming on the back of his neck.Ā
It was like he forgot how to speak, he knew what he wanted to say but when he opened his mouth the wordās just wouldnāt come out. And maybe it was because he truly didnāt know what to say. Was he supposed to thank the other male? That seemed odd, perhaps he was supposed to return the sentiment. But- did he mean it? Well of course he meant it, but still he wasnāt sure how to say it.Ā
āS-so would I,ā he finally spoke, his voice quiet and shaky as he slowly looked up at the other male, a worried expression etched across his face as he bit down on his lip. If it were possible the Beauxbatons student felt even more nervous- what if Xander decided that he didnāt feel that way anymore, or if he deemed Remington too clingy? What then? He would be devastated.
The boy let out a small sigh of relief as their conversation shifted, lifting the enormous amount of pressure from his shoulders. He straightened up, a smile slowly reappearing across his face as he gazed at the older male.Ā āOf course I missed you,ā he responded with a small laugh as he playfully nudged the other with his shoulder. He missed the other more than he would ever admit, and perhaps more than he should. But he couldnāt help the way he felt when he was around the other, like everything was right in the world.Ā
