Woah, this blog, and my tumblr account, have been inactive for almost 7 years! I can't believe this got 1k+ followers, it's awesome to remember how many people were still following Regular Show back then. How've you guys been?? I bet the number will drop when people realize they're still following this account they forgot about haha. I'm burying the lead here, but stick with me! Though it's been awhile, I've still consistently loved this show since the day it ended. I heard they recently released the complete series on DVD here in the US, though with less than steller results. Poor packaging, none of the shorts (though it does include the film,) and it seems they may be using the internationally censored versions of the show, the ones that edit The Real Thomas to be about Druznia instead of Russia. A bummer to say the least, if you've bought the set I hope you're still finding some enjoyment in it however. What's brought me back for this post isn't that Regular Show is getting a new series, it's that this release reminded me of the time we got "unofficial" crew commentary tracks for later episodes. These were shared through soundcloud and ranged from then-current episodes, to somewhat older ones. Since home video in the US stopped pretty early on, this was the only way to hear the crew do commentary past Season 3. Unfortunately even with the new box set, no new special features were made. https://soundcloud.com/unofficial-rs-podcast/ While I'd like to encourage people to check out these online commentaries to scratch that itch for more special features, two of them have since been removed. These were commentaries for "Portable Toilet" and "The Dome Experiment Special." I'd sincerely like to reach out to anyone who may've saved these years ago and would be willing to share them. As it stands, they're basically lost. I'm sure a lot of Regular Show fans would appreciate it if you could! That said, please take care everyone, and I hope you all have a safe and happy 2025! Thank you for your interest in this blog all those years ago, that still means a lot to me!
