Hate is a strong word, I wouldn’t say that. I would say I form an opinion rather quickly, and tend to trust my instinct. If someone’s giving me bad vibes, they’re giving me bad vibes. I’m also usually right when it comes to my instincts.

For someone who graduated over 10 years ago, Rabastan still quite enjoyed spending time in Hogsmeade, even if he didn’t live or work anywhere near. That night, he was scribbling notes down on a parchment in a corner of The Three Broomsticks, and to anyone who tried to take a peek at what he was writing, the words would only seem like gibberish, all thanks to a quite useful charm. It was while taking a glance up to see if the waitress was coming with his drink that he instead found a more than familiar figure coming his way. “Brother. I didn’t expect to see you here.”

It wasn’t often Rodolphus found himself sitting among commoners, even if LIQUOR was promised. Yet, there he was, after a brief conversation with their mum, he agreed to pay Rabastan a visit, easily finding him at the Three Broomsticks. “ And here I thought you’d be a TAD more thrilled to see me, brother, after all, I’m risking MERLIN knows what kind of filth contaminating me by just stepping foot inside this place.” He grimaced as he took a seat, adjusting the collar of his suit as he snapped for the waitress to come back. 

but, still, despite this, the days ended in him being exhausted and the last thing he wanted to do was go home and be greeted by his mother throwing wedding planning in his face. it didn’t interest him. he’d show up, do what needed to be done, but beyond that, he trusted his mother’s taste and didn’t care much beyond keeping up his image and forming a connection with a high profile family. that is, and was always apart of his life. something he’d never cared much about, at that. 

so, now he sat at the bar of hogs head, waiting on someone to bring his order while scanning the place for something to entertain him enough to keep his groggy mind awake. but just as he started to turn away to join a group towards the corner, the shriek of a stool interrupted his train of thought and movement. 

“ they really do need to invest in new stools here, or at the very least clean them.” he commented, turning back towards the source.
